A Pokemon Shield Hardcore Nuzlocke Challenge with ONLY SHINY POKEMON - Can it be done? (No items, No overleveling)

RULES:
1) If a Pokemon faints, it's considered dead and can no longer be used.
2) Only the first shiny encounter can be caught on each route.
3) Species Clause; I can reroll an encounter if the first encounter is something already caught.
4) No items in battle (held items are fine).
5) No overleveling the next gym leader's highest Pokemon (leveling up during the fight is allowed).
6) Battle style must always be on 'Set'.

I have to admit it is a huge pet peeve of mine when the lowest version of an evolution line has the best shiny. Like staryu looks so good with that sandy color and then evolves and looks pretty similar to the regular form of starmie

agreed with your intro! SwSh have such a great variety of pokemon to build a team with, and the wild area, dens, and gym battles are all epic.

Pokemon has always been a relatively easy game. This game is no exception and is arguably one of the easiest. However, it's still the most fun I've had in a Pokemon game since either Black/White or HG/SS. Absolutely love this game.

Now that's a take I would like to hear more of personally I love these games especially for the roster of characters in the games like the character design is so good looking and I like their personalities I don't like friendly rivals but hope was different he actually had a arc into actually accepting he can't be as good as his brother and that's good he accepted that. Anyway this game is really great have more than 1000 hours on it so I agree

100% agree with you, Shiny Gigalith is definitely my favourite shiny (alongside Shiny Reshiram) because it was the first Shiny I ever caught!. I found it as a Boldore in Twist Mountain in Pokémon White 2!

The first two pokemon you got in the hunt reminded me of what i'm doing right now, and its the exact same thing you're doing. You inspired me to do the hunt on my own, and I wanted to give myself more of a challenge and NOT USE the isle of armor or the crown tundra. Thank you for all you do, and wish me luck (edit: my ideal team for my run is corvinight, coalossal, obstagoon, dusclops, grappoloct, and runerigus)

I think... I think this might be the first time I've watched a Pokemon Sword/Shield vid from someone that enjoys them (youtube "recommends" me all the... other vids). And I agree, I love 'em personally. Playing through Shield a second time as a mono-themed run and it's just... fun.

Finally beat main story hardcore nuzlock but now doing dlc in the same rules but watching your stuff really got me back into Pokemon so keep doing what you do and love seeing you enjoy Shield so many people shit on these games which I feel isn't right cause they are actually pretty good

I did enjoy Shield quite a bit, mainly for the diversity of Pokémon you can get right away. I also got my first ever legitimate shiny (full odds, random encounter too, not counting USUM wormhole shinies) in my second playthrough. My Golett (now Golurk) immediately became my favorite, what makes it even better is that I was shiny hunting him in BW

Mega jealous about how Rookidee and Wooloo were Jolly Nature, basically ideal natures for the in game story. The natures I usually get are either the exact opposite of the ideal nature or sassy and the like

Fun fact: Roggenrolla(?)'s second stage was my favorite mon in Black2, my forst pokemon game, so I went on the hunt as well and got one. Beautiful shiny colors!
