I grew up in lake Charles Louisiana and we were only 2 hours from Houston I grew up listening to Pokey KeKe Hawk Zro Lil Flip and Big Moe and a host of others and all the Houston artist. I became a artist myself my style is just like I was born in Houston but I’m from Louisiana Houston is like a second home for me all my family is there and I have been going there since I was born literally so to lose pokey for me is a huge loss he is a pioneer in my eyes one of the reasons I love our slow loud and bangin culture and will always rep third coast no matter what we are the most underrated part of hip hop but pokey you will live on through all of us third coast natives I love you big bro 🙏🏾
