Kinda funny that they censored a horse pooping in Bluey and then in some kids cartoons they have poop as a constant joke 💀

(From Bluey perspective as most of the censored is actually uncensored on DVD) I think it further proves why physical media is most important in terms of preservation.

People always talk about the bluey exercise episode, but honestly I don’t think it’s bad at all. The episode is just a dad wanting to work out and slowly realizing that playing with his kids is a way of working out. It’s wholesome and cute.

The deletion of the Dream Song about how the engines are contemplating their deaths? That's pure Creepypasta territory there O_O
  • @NIX-FLIX
I completely understand why that bathroom scene in Bluey was deleted because when I was a kid I’d like to slide around on tile floors if you hit a wall even if you’re going an inch an hour that hurts like insane

The deleted/edited scene from the MLP episode was talked about on Equestria Daily for a while since it was first aired. But perhaps the most controversial change was when a background character had her name removed. The episode was "The Last Roundup", and the background character was named Derpy by the fans on account of her crossed eyes and slurred voice. The moms complained to Hasbro, and the background character never spoke again until the 100th episode. I can tell you that the fans weren't happy with the decision, and neither was the voice actor.

Hi. Gen Zer here. I personally don't like jumpscares so I'm not desensitized to things like five nights at freddy's. But my brother does like horror games so I decided to look up the lion and the bear scene on youtube and show it to him (don't worry he's 17 I'm not traumatizing a little kid) He said he actually found it to be very unsettling. I asked him how can you find this creepy when you watch lets plays of Choo Choo Charles and Five Nights at Freddy's? He told me that it's probably the context. The horror games that our generation love so much are advertised as scary and their lore shows that they're scary too. Therefore, when a person pulls up one of these games, they have some level of expectation that they're going to be scared, thus making the fear less potent especially if you play the game over and over. But with the lion and the bear, the setting is a baby show intended to have the opposite effect. Teletubbies is intended to be soothing and sweet so an unsettling scene comes with no expectation and thus feels more jarring
  • The Dream Song is horribly terrifying. The disorienting feeling of the winding song, and the depressing and grim fates of our engine crew, I hate even thinking about it. That special was insane.
  • Dark moments have to be shown to help kids learn about the real world and that it's not all happy and sunshine which it should be understood. The crew and everyone has to understand that villains are meant to be scary and that's part of what makes them great with kids liking them regardless of being scared and wellbeing and it's no reason to downplayed or removed, especially since Rupert Degas sounded great as Diesel 10 originally. In Season 9, Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy shows no complex despite a few things as well as King Sombra and Storm King and they're all very great as being evil, power hungry and world conquering which is what we like about them without anything else.

5:48 Ngl, "'OOOOOOOOH~', he said spookily" followed by Diesel going "😲" and backing offscreen made me burst out laughing! X

4:57-5:20 Suddenly, his ability to banish trains to the Shadow Realm makes more sense, no matter which version you're looking at
  • Gotta say, the Dream Song was, and still is genuinely terrifying to listen to. The way it presents the fates of everyone just feels so dystopian and dark for Thomas of all shows. I admit, it is satirically rather funny, but when you realize the implications it gets dark quickly lol. It is nice to see that particular song get some more light placed upon it. It kind feels like it's one of those deleted bits of Thomas media that goes underappreciated in my eyes.

My little pony friendship is magic had a younger target audience so i can understand why the melting mean 6 would have scared younger children but the door to the cave of wonders was far scarier and way darker when Abu touched the treasure. And the statue was melting too.
  • I think what could one of the reasons Bluey's childbirth episode was cut was because, while yes they were playing, they were pulling on the legs. Which is what you're NOT supposed to do because it's incredibly dangerous for a newborn and mother. (Edit: Huh, so this is my highest rated comment (so far). Anyways yes I know the majority of kids aren't actually gonna take this seriously and there other reasons why it got cut but still)
  • To this day I still find it stupid that nickelodeon decided to ban one of the SpongeBob episodes just because it had Mr. Krabs stealing a pair of women’s underpants apparently having SpongeBob spew pus out in front of Mr. crabs wasn’t banned and SpongeBob having his eyelids come out and spiders crawl over his body wasn’t band and have a SpongeBob being killed by Mrs. puff wasn’t bad but apparently mr. Krabs just stealing a pair of women’s trousers was apparently pushing the limit too far just saying 😂😂😂

14:50 note: the horse in the video isnt scared, when a horse throws their head like that it means "fuck you ima do whatever i want!" its a playful gesture that they do when they dont want to do do as told and instead be a bitch
  • 6:03 Thomas Fact: This was the second time Desiel 10's voice was replaced because back in 2000 while during production of Thomas and the magic railroad desiel 10 was originally voiced by Keith Scott but was replaced by Neil crone because Keith's voice was frightening and trust me there's a lot of changes during production including the final chase scene
