Very cool. I did this with Lavender this past spring with zero experience. Instead, I just stuck em right in the ground at my grandma's house. Gave her four with the thought that only one would grow for her, but they all did with very little care.
  • A couple years ago I successfully rooted two lavender plants after following these instructions. Just came back for a refresher as I plan to do it again.

I just recently viewed a couple of your videos...propagating roses, lavender from cuttings. I love style. Thanks for the info....💋

Thanks for this! Going to go round to my parents now and steal some cuttings!! :)

Thank you for your great advice. I have had great success growing lavender in Maine in gravel rich areas and cover with clean sand in the winter. When I clear away the sand in the late spring I get plenty of stems that have roots which I can snip off and pot up and nurture till they go into a new spot.

You have a beautiful smile. Thanks for doing the video even the unexpected rain showed up without "an appointment " haha
  • I am the lavender destroyer. I made so many mistakes I had to go buy new lavender because I had nothing left. Now that I know how to kill lavender I have better idea how not to. I will try your method of growing cuttings. Thanks :)
  • I just love your video! I love the smell of lavender and the flowers are so pretty! Thank you for sharing and teaching one how to propagate lavender:)
  • What an awesome how to video! It was so very helpful to me. Thank you.

Middle of March, zone 7, perfect! Mine is already very green since it is hot here but I'm hoping for the best, thank you!

I wish we were neighbors. (Too bad I live on eastern Long Island.) You know a lot and are clearly a very nice guy. Thanks for these helpful videos. Cheers Allen

Always helpful to see the results at a later date. And I like to see video posters that answer questions.
