This bird is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t believe this is my first time hearing of them.

Can you talk about the hummingbird hawk-moth, Macroglossum stellatarum? They come to my balcony to feed on the flowers and I find them sooo interesting! Would be awesome if more people learned about them

When ever the Columbidae have family reunions, the Nicobar Pigeon always shows up looking fabulous.

What do you call a child custody dispute among pigeons? A squabble.

I actually have a soft spot for pigeons. And this species is gorgeous 😍 The white tail almost serves like a contrasting accent against their beautiful feathers.

If I had to describe a pigeon in 3 words: kind, sweet, silly
  • I just found out about this pigeon this morning, now I get to watch an informative video on them. Thanks!
  • I'd love to see an actual video on the Rock Dove. They're so cute, and idk why people hate them. I know I see them alot, living in NY, but I adore how they mate for life. ♡
  • Everyday I feed a mixture of several types of seeds and dried fruit to an average of 26 feral pigeons, blue Jays, Black Capped Chickadees, a pair of Cardinals, and several types of squirrels. My flock of pigeons can vary from about a dozen to over 50! Oh, I get a pair of gray doves and a woodpecker too.

What a coincidence! I was thinking about this pigeon for about a few weeks now, and now you guys made a video about it? You guys truly are amazing!

April fools day falling on a Friday this year has the unexpected effect of meaning I’m stuck here trying to parse what’s a prank and what isn’t 😅. I was waiting so long for the joke to drop in this video before I realized it was a regular upload. Pretty Bird!
  • I like pigeons in general, they are always observing me, they are smarter than they seem to be and they can be really friendly if people don't scare them away.

I love pigeons, especially rock doves or feral pigeons or flying rats. The ones at the park know me because they always greet me when I go there. I don't feed them all the time as feeding wild animals is a bad idea, but I do put out nesting materials and boxes for the birds there. Since I take lunch with me to the park the pigeons naturally linger around me, and over time, they seem to sit closer to me. I've even held them before! They're really smart and misunderstood.

Our greed overrides our intelligence. So many animals wouldn't be extinct if it wasn't for greed.

I think this is the most beautiful bird I have ever seen!
  • @Forever_Rayne
Such a beautiful bird! 🥰 Their feathers look like a mane.
  • @Michy.peachy
Pigeons are so adorable how can anyone hate them 😍

Can you PLEASE talk about the American Pika? This cute lagomorph(rabbit-relative) live on the top of the Rockies of the United States. They eat many leafy grasses and consumes flowers. This tiny rabbit like animal is super underrated, and if not the American Pika, how about the Chinchilla and their cousins Viscachas. Chinchillas and Viscachas are rabbit-like rodents and should definitely gain more recognition. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment.
