I am Polish who came to England. I would never ever dare to think that Englad has to change anything to accommodate me. It is me who came over and it is me who has to adapt to country. If I hear Polish speaking how bad England is, I tell them to go back to Poland then.

I think that it is fair enough to decide who comes into your country after all we decide who comes into our homes. What is happening now is invasion not asylum.

She literally INTERRUPTED every time Douglas was trying to answer any of her “attempted gotcha” questions, ONLY letting him say a “quarter” of the question before straw-manning the OVERALL POINTS Douglas was making!!! The disingenuous (and frankly speaking WILLING OBTUSENESS) as well as the more than slightly condescending tone of voice also pissed me off, I virtually guarantee she gets off to the smell of her own farts!

They have to assimlate to a culture where rape and crime aren't accepable. Sad words.

I'm going to take a very cold attitude here but why is it our duty to take these refugees in in the first place? How did it become part of our constitutional duty or parliamentarian duty to do this? Who made this decision, when was it made, what was the law or the statute that said it is now the responsibility of America and the West to take in all these refugees from around the world? I'd like to know when this happened and who made this decision for us because I sure didn't have a say. I would have told them don't come in the first place. And as far as being responsible for it? You can blame our militaries for that but not the people. Our military should have stayed out of Iraq. We cannot appease the entire world. Every government should be making laws to help its citizens not foreigners. This is what's wrong with the world

If the British public have to suffer for the actions of our government, people from the third world should be held responsibile for the poor state of their countries.

How are borders arbitrary when they're based on culture? If our cultures are different, then how is living under different governing bodies just a willy nilly act? We govern ourselves based on our personal beliefs, and beliefs are different between cultures. Yes, we see some cultures as more "compatible" with our society because those people are willing to assimilate to the country that they see as better than where they are coming from. Why would you leave a place to just turn your new country into what you're fleeing from? That reluctance to assimilate IS a threat to our way of life because those that refuse to assimilate want to do away with our way of life and make it into what they want it to be. If you don't like what our society is, don't come here.
