I wake up every morning and say "Not going cave diving today"

If caving wasn't scary enough... now you throw in water.
  • As an experienced cave diver with 420 hours of experience, my number one strategy for not dying cave diving is by not going cave diving.

I’m an open water diver and I’m going to keep it that way. Cave diving scares the hell out of me.

11 hours of diving experience…..What could possibly go wrong
  • 07:15 - "With no air coming from anywhere, her nostrils and mouth started to gulp in copious amounts of cave water. But worse..." NO. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN THAT.
  • Experience is irony here. Had the dude not known the cave prior, they would have red the maps and gather updated informations 🤔
  • I’m secure enough in my abilities and decision making process I know that no one will ever have to say that I died cave diving… because there’s no way I’m going cave diving.

The phrase "cave diving gone wrong" is actually redundant.

Absolute nightmare fuel. I physically shivered!
  • The dive leader not reading up on changes to the environment was negligent but I'll give him credit for at least trying to go back in and rescue her.

Those minutes before she went limp must have been awful.

Excellent and really well made video! The editing and research is impressive. What a terribly sad, avoidable tragedy. Lesson is, always have sufficient training before putting oneself in a situation like this.

Wouldn't do that for all the rice in China

I feel like anyone who wants to cave dive should have to watch every one of these cave diving disaster videos first. If they then still wish to do it, they should be immediately fitted for a straight jacket.
