No joke when I went on a tour of Hoover dam as a kid probably like 10 years ago now ... I was wearing a transformers shirt. And during the tour the tour guide said.. "..And No I cannot reveal the location of the Allspark.." šŸ˜‚

Last used in 1983. This is 50 feet wide. A bus can go down this side ways. The desert environment makes this still look brand new, despite being 90 years old or so.

The Hoover Dam spillway tunnel, also known as the emergency spillway tunnel, is a structure associated with the Hoover Dam located on the Colorado River between the states of Nevada and Arizona in the United States. The spillway tunnel is a vital component of the dam's infrastructure designed to manage excess water flow and prevent flooding. In the event that the water level of Lake Mead (the reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam) exceeds a certain threshold, the spillway tunnel serves as an additional outlet to divert water away from the dam. It provides a controlled path for releasing excess water downstream, mitigating the risk of overwhelming the dam's primary spillways and potentially damaging the structure. Edit: Iā€™ve noticed that Iā€™ve been getting lots of hate for sharing knowledge! Very interesting, never knew this would happen. Internet is a weird place. If you hate what Iā€™m doing, ignore it. Instead of being a wisenheimer or a sensitive edgy teen.

That crow was telling them to ā€œslide, slide, slideā€ šŸ˜®

You can still find the shattered bones of Legionaries when they tried to assault the Dam.

Almost a 1000 foot drop without anything to stop anyone's fall, except concrete. I'd say it's not a recommended ride.
  • "I dont know what is down there" there's water lady, TONS of water ready for bursting out with the power of a nuclear bomb.
  • Hello from germany :) i visited the States with my Dad 2009. we rent a Harley in L.A. and made a roadtrip for 3 Weeks. We drove over exactly this street. At this time they build a big bridge next to the hoover dam. Nice reminding for me. thank you :)

That's an emergency exit leading to the Black Mesa Installation. Probably Barney is down there still fighting off some leftover Vortigaunts.... šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

The echo of the birds cawing right after she asks if he hears it made this really scary and ominous

Think I'll ride a skateboard down that on my 90th birthday!
