As much as this series is all chaos and silliness, I think it's just a microcosm showing each person in their true natural state. As if all of them speed run their character arcs. Martyn keeps running and hiding. Scott finds safety in numbers. Big B spends most of his life alone. Joel tries to kill everything immediately. Pearl has an identity crisis, Timmy dies just so quickly. No character subversions, It's like they all return to their natural states.
