Word to the wise. If it doesn’t feel right DONT DO IT. !!!!!!
  • Hey guys it’s your boy from the backhoe safety video, I’m still stuck after trying to dig a trench with the seat forward. I’ve since ate that delicious Snickers, currently living off the over growth grass on my boots. Also had to boil hydraulic oil into water, I know it’s bad for my figure but the struggle is real. I may have to start eating pieces in the cab, I’ll do what it takes. Oh the bright side I think my wife assumes I died, so looking forward to a new me and new year for 2021 maybe get a mail order new wife. So I guess if anyone reads this always look forward to the little blessing upon us, 2021 will be my year boys. #HARDhatsmatter #goals

somehow at my age I prefer your usual stuff of how do it safely! Of course the awareness of risks is useful! Excellent comments from you guys!

I'm in training to be an operator. My instructor uses some of your videos in our training. I watched all the fail videos, and found them very helpful. I don't see any showing recovery operations or the use of mats. Both of those would be helpful and interesting. keep up the great work!
  • They little blueish excavator had an articulated stick vs the stick and arm we are use too! Good comments.
  • @jonyemm
The first video the dump is pulling the mixer which is pulling the excavator
  • @siamsurf
3:37 this excavator can move the arm left and right, so the arm/bucket could be "straight" in front of the left or right tracks, it's mainly used to dig trenches close to an edge or wall. Check out the Mitsubishi/CAT MXR-50, it's similar and there are some videos on YT where people demonstrate it.

Wow that guy in the dump truck glad he's ok but dam that was funny how he landed could of been worse in so many ways
  • @andyellis307
Cant believe that so called professional operators get themselves in those situations even a novice would know a 15-20 ton machine is very easy to flip

Safety is a mind-set. Think safety. Go home at the end of the day.

I have been operating a 470JD EXCAVATOR I got laid off yesterday lol a yahoo operator jumped on it without greasing the machine and blew the bucket pin grease fitting on Saturday I hate when supervisors ask you to do stupid crap on machinery
