  • I knew Faulk was a stud running back, but I never realized how great he really was. One of the best all-around running backs ever.
  • Wow, it gave me the chills when he just stood up and walked out in the middle of the interview. What a respectable man for standing up for his team, I mean literally!
  • @motogolf1
Damn.... he is one of the most under rated backs of all time... Definitely up there with the GOATS
  • IMO Marshall's VISION made him elite. You can't teach vision & instincts.
  • I’m so glad I got a chance to grow up and experience this era. Really the best time of the NFL
  • Walking off the set on Costas revealed the mark of integrity, class, maturity and loyalty of a real man. Naturally Costas was flummoxed.
  • Dude rushed over 1000 and received over 1000 in the same year... Damn 🔥
  • People know the name. They know Marshall Faulk was a great player. They know he's a Hall of Famer. They just, for the most part, don't understand HOW GREAT of a football player this man was. Unless you came up watching the game during his era - you just don't know. There were some GREAT backs in his era. But if I had to build a team in that era, starting with the RB position - gimme Marshall Faulk over everybody playing RB at the time.
  • So crazy how many legenddary careers were made possible by an injury of a player above them on the depth chart
  • From 1999-2001 he might have been the most dominant Runningback in NFL History
  • I'm from New Orleans...this guy is the only player I've ever followed from hs to the pros....he dominated every single level Anybody remember espn had a Faulk watch back in the day when he was in college? Where when he played they always would click over to his highlights and kept track of his yards. He was that electrifying.

Marshall Faulk is the reason why EA created the R2 burst that Man Marshall Faulk had a incredible acceleration and version and balanced
  • To my mind and eye, as a runner, he was a 50/50 combination of Tony Dorsett and Barry Saunders. And a hint of Fred Astaire. He exhibited perfect balance. Looks like he ran on the balls of his feet, not the toes. One of my absolute favorite RBs ever. Maybe the most complete back since Walter (run, block, throw, catch in equanimity and with clinical execution). So great at it all, that I just never think about him until I see it again. Thanks A Football Life for reminding me.

Marshall Faulk is leader, with unbelievable morals, big heart, and being a real man. Respect for this Gentleman. Great story for a pheonominal player. Wonderful memories in team efforts.
  • @JPPInt
I love his approach to the TEAM. He leaving interview is massive moment for team.
  • @TXRager
I’m just gonna say it. He needs to coach somewhere. He’d be excellent cause his football mind was incredible! Given his talent on the field he’d be a great addition to any coaching staff on any level.
  • Marshall Faulk is my favorite player!!! I started liking him in college. I new from watching him in college that he was going to be one of the greatest running backs!!! Even how successful his career was I feel he is still underrated.
