Today, we take one giant step towards finishing my $2,000,000 flooded McLaren P1, and that's testing the electrical system, breathing the first signs of life into the car since it went into the ocean nearly two years ago. We also take a look at fitting the bespoke carbon fiber clamshell once and for all, thanks to Shawn from Attacking The Clock Racing.

Wish us luck, we will need it!

Kind of crazy how you can repair something so complex when you simply have access to diagrams and schematics. No wonder why companies in every industry are fighting right to repair so hard. Keep up the good work my dude, this journey is wild.
  • @eaturkishdude
Adam is going to be the unsung hero of this build. Wiring was definetly the most dificult part of this build so far and he got it done single-handedly. What a genius!
  • @tylerc161
42:10 Adam is seriously the biggest hero of this whole thing. I mean, everyone is doing their part no doubt but Adam is doing the thing we ALL hate the most; and perfect.
  • @KeenDetailing
Tavarish is like Oppenheimer recruiting every specialist from the four corners of earth to create the atomic bomb of hyper cars.
  • @VINwiki
Well if this is as far as you get, you still have the world's coolest night light.
  • @dazuk1969
The dude making the wiring loom is probably the most important person in this vid. Massive rEspect !
  • @SDE90
I emplore you to re-wire and pin just ONE connector in your car. Adam is the 🐐 on this build, crazy work!
  • @thematrix3431
Adam is a LEGEND. Not to discredit anybody else's incredibly hard work but that wiring job he's doing is unreal.
  • @Rman1228
Adam, we are definitely going to make sure you get your deserved credit for redoing the entire wiring harness. This part of the build is really what puts the entire thing together, and what you're accomplishing is AMAZING

I worked at McLaren when P1 was launched. It was a crazy, manic, stressful and exciting time, all rolled into one. You need to contact Richie Sibal, who was head of P1 Electronics at the time. He might be able to talk you through the harness technical stuff.
  • What I love about these videos is that tavarish does not just buy parts and bolt on to restore to factory fresh, he builds a better car the hard way. Getting hand fettled carbon fibre repairs and improvements, building a better engine, a bespoke loom and turbo / exhaust, Costs a fortune, takes time but is unique and can only be done because of us watching. He has a personality that makes watching him, Jack and the team enjoyable compulsive to watch.
  • @marl745
Cutting a 1of1 full carbon fiber bespoke body kit with a Home Depot tool is next level nasty Tavarish!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
  • Adam is an absolute genius. It cannot be understated how incredible what he is doing with the wiring actually is
  • @lowerd1
Until somebody decides to rebuild a Duesenberg, this is hands down the greatest YouTube rebuild ever to me. Keep up the great work.
  • @EzleRS
My favorite thing about this series isn't just how brilliant Tavarish, Jack and his whole team are but also how amazing all of these experts he has who put their touch on it. I love seeing how these different unique jobs you normally wouldn't ever hear of that are artist at what they do. Amazing video like always tavarish. P.S ADAM IS A MONSTER! amazing!
  • When your P1 display shows an image of a 570s , You got a wire wrong somewhere. 😂😂😂
  • @BioFake1
Adam is wielding some kind of dark magic to be able of such feats ! True genius at work !
  • @esvedium
The excitement in your voice when the dash lights up is so wonderful to hear. This is some of the best car content ever, not just youtube car content. Everyone involved should feel proud of what you’ve done so far. Can’t wait to see the rest of everyone’s hard work pay off!!
  • @walter.bellini
Thank you for the updated video, totally appreciated I know that you guys are working 100 times harder off camera, but I know that so many people are here supporting your journey, and I am pretty sure McLaren is watching this in secret. Looking good, sending positive vibes to your team. So glad that you were happy to see the rebirth push out a heartbeat with the console lighting up along with the front lights, what a smile outside and inside you shared with us.
