What Does "He Will Give You the Desires of your Heart" Really Mean?

Anyone who is reading this, I always wanted to get married and have a family. but I didnt wait, because fear of being lonely I dated girls I shouldnt have, slept around just to feel what its like to be loved. but its all fake, I didnt wait on the Lord. Dont be like me, cause its to late for me. But you still have a chance, I beg you please wait on Gods timing.

If you submit too God and seek his will. You will see the desires of your heart. Which is too participate in God's plan and actions evidence of God.

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” - Mark 12:30

When you come to Christ, He gives you a new nature and a new heart. You desire the things of God and not the things of the old fleshly nature. You have been transformed.

Sadly, I don't even know the desires of my heart. But I am trying to trust Jesus knows my desires better then I do. After all. He made me.

The Lord gives us a new heart, it’s not broken or bitter it’s brand new, with new desires for Him and his word. Things we now desire after salvation. I had no desire to read the Bible before salvation, becoming born again, transformed from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. It’s amazing how all this works. God bless

Create in me a clean heart, oh God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalms 51:10. That verse is saying the same thing as this verse. If you submit your worldly desires to God, He will take them and give you new and better desires. He will give you your new desires. It doesn't seem to happen overnight either. He is molding me. He is trying me in the fire so I can come forth as gold. I am reborn and so I am a baby. I am growing into His likeness. This is a wonderful message and video. You have to fully submit to him for this to be as fruitful as possible. Many times we submit, but not fully and we may not even be aware that happens. As an encouragement to people ps 37 was my life verse that God gave me when I was a teen I lived it consistently for a while have not been perfect. When I turn 21 I was up on a beautiful Hill praying and someone came up out of the woods singing.. It would be my wife to be we've had eight children and have been together since the year 2000 when I met her on the hill.. delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your hear. Trust in him and He shall do it!
