Setting up this generator for a whole home generator. It is a tri fuel meaning I can run it on gasoline, propane, and natural gas. I’m setting this up with a generlink too run my whole house in the event of an emergency. In this video of the series I am setting it up and testing it using propane. In the next series I will set it up to run on natural gas. Finally I will connect everything to the generlink.

I misspoke in the video @13:18 you can run the generator for 100 hours between oil changes AFTER the breakin period.

I own one. Have had it for over a year. Very dependable. Runs all the time on NG. About 7 power failures. Lov it

Nice video. Just bought one from Costco today. Had a power outage 2 days ago for about four hours (Florida). Started getting real uncomfortable in this summer heat. Thanks for sharing the video of the setup. Will be very useful as I’m sure I’ll watch it a few more times before getting myself squared away.

Thanks so much for this video. I set this up with an interlock to my electrical panel. We'll see how it works when the winds come next month.

You are only required to change the oil every 100 hours, after the initial 25 hour break-in.

  • I was able to run my Lennox 3 ton central AC system on propane with this generator. I do not have an easy start kit installed on the AC system either.
