Can some one tell me why a president needs immunity from criminal acts??? A president should always follow the law of the country !!! And should never act alone...advisers should aslo up hold the Law and properly advise!!! Anything else is pure CRIMINAL !!!!
  • "The District Court denied Trump’s motion to dismiss, holding that former Presidents do not possess federal criminal immunity for any acts. The D. C. Circuit affirmed. Both the District Court and the D. C. Circuit declined to decide whether the indicted conduct involved official acts." "There is no immunity for unofficial acts." "Trump asserts a far broader immunity than the limited one the Court recognizes..."
