One massive critisism I have of series 11-13 is that the 13th Doctor just doesn't feel enough like 'The Doctor'. This is heavily based on the way that she is written by Mr Chibnall. But in steps Maxine Alderton with The Haunting of Villa Diodati (a very good episode, I will say) and we get almost a "Timelord Victorius" kind of speech and is brilliant.

This is why I still maintain that 13 will become a fan favourite once she gets on Big Finish. Jodie is an INCREDIBLE actor and on the few occasions she was given good material, she knocked it out of the park.

Thanks for posting! Easily one of Jodie’s best scenes, that classic Doctor’s rage peeking through her cheery exterior.

I almost definitely won’t watch the entirety of the Chibnall era once I finish my rewatch but this is one of the eps I’ll have to check out

She was finally comfortable in the character and delivering stuff like this. Then she was gone. Another year with better writers and showrunner and she really would havebern 'Brilliant'.

Unfortunately for chibnall mofatt left him with the arc of the doctor telling 13 to be kind and thats not where jodie shines. She does really well when shes condescending and a bit mean spirited

There were no good scenes just facial expressions and a Bolton accent. Awful
