“Just because they’re kid actors doesn’t mean they can’t get murdered” Frankenstein flashbacks intensifies
  • @lukemanuel6803
Imagine getting murdered only to have some guy say that's the lamest kill.
  • @stev6963
“Clothes are hung, people are hanged.” I learned that from a professors and never forgot it. Thanks James for spreading the word lol.

Anybody else noticed that some of the characters fates were foreshadowed in the beginning? Auggie kept talking about what people eat, Chuck mentions being smothered by his mom, Ruth's attention to her face and make-up, etc. I just love detail in movies like that. It's always fun to see. Great review and kill count.

“Let’s see how many kids bite the big one” The FBI would like to know your location
  • @hopepapernacky
I think the Pale Lady looks absolutely amazing. She’s the highlight of the movie for me.
  • @vancrump3207
I usually hate horror movies because I easily get incredibly scared but I love how James makes these movies feel light hearted while still conveying how scary they are
  • @AngelofMusic04
"...while they don't find a dude banging out Morse code with his head..." RESPECT!!!!!!
  • @goobygoobert
The monsters aren’t particularly scary they’re just extremely disturbing and that’s what makes me feel scared
  • @ZacharyResky
I liked the “hanged” running joke in the episode. And I agree with James’ assessment about tootsie rolls. It is definitely the world’s most unfairly maligned piece of candy. I eat tootsie rolls almost all of the time.
  • im 13 as of 2022, and my CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARY had these books in stock. i would be obsessed with those books, and im so glad that they're getting recognition by being covered. Thanks James!!
  • The illustrations of these books scared the hell out of me when I was a kid, the artwork is timeless and still creeps me out.
  • @xanderfoley2945
If I ever died in a horror movie,I would want to get a golden chainsaw.
  • @lindsey.13
i’m actually super surprised that the books came out that long ago. i’m 17 but definitely grew up reading these ever since i got them from my school library when i was in 3rd grade. which honestly was way to young and i think it kinda fucked me up. but i guess these books are just ageless.
  • @RapidTP
I remember reading The Big Toe in 6th grade on a field trip to some hills near San Fransisco. Our teacher read it and I stayed awake throughout the whole night. The movie does well to capture and present that same feeling you get when you read the book. I have to say, I think the Pale Lady might have been the best kill Pain-wise. Didn't seem like Chuck experienced any pain. Just fear and probably confusion as he was hugged.
  • I know James is a busy guy, but let’s appreciate the fact that we managed to get two kill counts this month, instead of the once a month kill count he informed about. Thanks James. ❤️❤️❤️
  • @klday84
These books got me into horror. I remember (and still can) singing The Hearse Song randomly throughout my youth. I've introduced my 10 year who doesn't like blood but likes watching horror. Love this movie ♡ thank you for posting a kill count ♡
