Thank you. This opens a world of possibilities for me. The coloring technique can be improved using more pure pigments like those used in watercolors. Maybe acrilic paint or gouache might work… I will have to try. Or leave it clear and paint later. Also the making technique. You could have doubled the tapes with pliable cardboard like that from cereal packaging.

Very useful info. 👍 Didn’t know acetone is dissolving these brittle hard plastics. - So far I watched some good videos on melting and reshaping PE -plastics. Your video adds on to my knowledge on the spectrum of plastics.

Do any of you people read the comments before asking the same question that has been asked MANY times already? - - -The pot repair was intended as an example of what could be done with the liquid plastic. I venture to say that everyone knows the pot is a $1.25 item. If you and your dad mixed spit and iodine together, then make a video and leave this guy alone. Same goes for all of the negative comments, MAKE YOUR video about how to use a razor knife. 😮😮😮

We did all this for a plastic pot from dollar tree. Very helpful chemistry lesson, though. Glad to know how to do this with other items. :) Thanks for sharing.
