Where is Battlefront 3? Where is Half-Life 3? Where is Portal 3? WHERE IS NEED FOR SPEED: UNDERGROUND 3?!

Modders for Battlefront II (2017 on PC) have produced a new programme that lets you play BF II with the most popular mods, much, much more easily and find servers more easily as well as having dedicated servers running the best mods, you just download the programme, pick a server with the mod you want and play, the programme downloads and adds the mod you need with no hassle and need for 4 programmes running at the same time to let you play. That is basically BF III ( it has Ahsoka, new maps, and tons of new heroes)

Battlefront 3 is by far the Star Wars project I want to happen most. A large aaa live service game just fits the series so well and adds a sense of community that no other type of project can really achieve.

Alright I guess ill try my best to explain the situation for those who aren't in the loop or have just forgotten. Battlefront 1 and 2 where financial success but an absolute PR nightmare for EA and Dice (due to their own mismanagement and greed with the license) Ea always saw battlefront 2 in the negative light despite how much money it mad taking out microtransactions hindered their view of the game as its revenues was through sales alone so they ere extremely surprised to see just how much the celebration edition made it when it came out. Over the year people have been leaving Dice to pursue Creative freedom after years of not being allowed to pursue the projects they wanted to work on because EA said so. Those who left Dice were not only those who founded it but those who also created the Frostbite engine which is the engine that all Battlefield games and Battlefront games run off of but All Ea games were running on now. in 2020 EA and Dice were getting ready to produce their next title in the Battlefield Franchise 2042, a big return to form for the franchise and hired new faces to replace those who left . As the project was in development the realization came that the game may not be able to hit its 2021 October release window so instead of pushing back the project to give the devs at Dice more time with the game and a an engine that is nutritious for being NON NEW USER FRIENDLY EA made the decision for 2042 to be an All hands on deck project with everyone who knows how to use Frostbite. They Canceled support for all current Dice games at the time Battlefield V and Battlefront 2 and pushed other studios like Criterion off of their Need for speed project because they knew how to use frostbite onto 2042's development team since the game was trying its bets to reach that October 2021 release date Dennis Branvell (sorry to butcher last name Dennis) Saw this news and him with the rest of the Bf2 development team had to close up shop and work on 2042 but Dennis was still trying to push for a BF3 to be worked on after 2042. He and a couple of people brainstormed and made some prototypes even having some game session where a nutreal party told the pitch of the game without any of the starworts theming and it ranked to be one of the highest positive response in DIce history. Dennis and his group pitched it to EA where they quickly denied the project (this was after 2042's release) and hearing they couldn't work on a BF3 Dennis and most of the bf2 development team just got up and Left dice. some working in a new indie studios and others going to work on other star wars titles like Outlaws. So now thats where BF3 is left at. As of right now DICE can not work on the title as they are once again all hands on deck with their next Battlefield game with more Studios working on the "revival" of the franchise. Dice is not the Dice that made tat past game. Bunch of fresh new faces who are just learning the engine can resulting the game FEELING vastly different from the first 2 games and in the eyes of EA its seen as a financial risk since it comes with a lot of baggage ( caused by their own greed) . The game needs to be everything and then some for people to even start to look at it, It needs A full campaign, Space battles, ground battles, vehicles, hero's, galactic conquest, capital ships, co op, and the list goes on and on and on. The expectations are high but the game itself is the biggest layup to jsut print money. with 2 games already under their belt the perfect game is right there and they dont want to pursue it because of money.

You forgot to mention how incomplete BF2 was, so many planets like Coruscant, Utapau, etc missing, heroes like Ahsoka, Ventress, Jango, Windu, etc and lots of vehicles and reinforcements as well

EA dropped BF3 development for battlefield 2042

Likely needs a reboot, to sell it to the nxt generation of kids who likely had just been born when 2015 battlefront game out, they likely need to start again.

Dennis and the BF team at DICE all left the company once EA told them it was too much of a risk to make BF3. You also must not have checked out the modding community. We already have Ahsoka and a lot of other added heroes & characters, and have a server browser in KYBER custom servers. V2 is coming soon, which offers 24x7 servers with custom mode/map rotations and more.

Anyone else still MAD that we’re never gonna get the ORIGINAL Battlefront III where you could leave a ground battle to join a space battle?! I mean, WHY?! 😡

Would be interesting to see a Battlefront 3 from a different studio. I love what DICE did with the series, but so many of those devs have already left the company, so it probably wouldn’t be the same if DICE made the third one

At least we have Kyber V2 coming up for Battlefront 2. That's gonna be like a Battlefront 2.5 o7

Its hilarious that battle front 2 got a ton of backlash, for things that are now the industry norm

Imagine if another company takes over the series and makes a new game simply titled "Star Wars Battlefront" and then we get locked in an eternal loop of getting BF1 and BF2 but never Battlefront 3

I didn’t know I needed a One Way Out mode on Narkina 5 until you brought it up. Whenever the next Battlefront is made, this is a must-have mode.

🕹🕹Battlefront 3 was on the planning stage, but after the StarWars Community started to fall (right after The Last Jedi movie release) Everything got pushed back. We thank Rian Johnson thanks.
