  • I committed last week after binge watching the 4 slammed mower videos. We travel simular paths it seams. I too just picked up a Honda GX390 for my 1988 Club Car on my channel... the 8.5 HP Kawasaki may be shot. Our builds will be similar yet very different as I'll be able to use stock clutch assembly, and you are converting from electric. I have a bunch of lawn tractors to get through first Later. • Nice to meet you... I'm Lawren... Ret AF, did basic in San Antonio in 1985... I've been a Knifemaker since 1982, and I've been modding lawn tractors for about13 years

Hey Jake, We will try not to hold it against ya that you live in Baja, Oklahoma. Oh Snap. On a kinder note, I figured you were slamming that thing to become a racing mower. To hear that it is simply a toy project was not what I wanted to hear. But hey, it's cool. I build Hot Rods for fun. I am too old to do the racing I thought I was going to do when I was 10 years old. Anyway, cool video. Thanks for the story of what you do, who you are and so on. Hope to catch you doing your next project. Work Safe, Be well Enjoy Life

I've seen on other channels the mention of other "free" music libraries outside of YouTube have issues with a song could be free one minute and not the next. It can quickly put you in a bad position. Sticking with YouTube music would seem to be a more stress free option in my opinion. Now that I've got my $.02 out of the way... I'm loving the content. I am a tinkerer at heart and i love watching others work on their projects as well. I'm slowly trying to build a little workshop in my apartment. I will be limited to what i can tinker with but i intend to have fun regardless. Keep up the good work!

Hey Jake, I’m JimBob. Aww man, your reasons for starting a channel are sooo similar to mine. Good luck with getting projects finished, or at least have fun! Only watched pt1 slammed and this vid as now but I’m going to pretend you haven’t made any more vids yet and respond to your exhaust pipe question as well as show a pic (somehow) of a very similar project I started 18 years ago and come Saturday morn I will literally drag it out of the weeds for a photo shoot (the muffler idea too is in some separate weeds) - and because I have done a project like this before I am going to be very interested to see how you deal with the rear end drive rotation 🤔 - good on you for starting a channel - that’s the 1st hurdle - oh and Davinci Resolve is free - the free version is all you need and is industry standard now (adobe fans are leaving for DR) and heaps of how to for noobs content available. I’ll make a short for the muffler and semi dropped mower chassis … I should finish them projects 😂

How about putting a heat shield under your fuel line so your exhaust can run underneath

We live near each other. I'm in Somerville, Tx. Found you on Instagram as well.

If you ever want to go faster, get a peerless 700 transmission for it so you can run a live axle, better rear brakes, and they hold up better.
