“You promised children Krabby the clown, but all I saw out there was…cheapy the cheapskate!”
  • @Flopfist
"Thanks for ruining my 3 year olds day" I literally saw a 3 year olds day ruined today because they couldn't eat food that was in mud. Their day can be ruined by anything

The funniest part is - judging by the picture - that onesie isn't even Bluey, it's her *dad*.

Adults fighting over a kids show sounds pretty par for the course.

"Some bronies laughed, some children cried, most parents weren't silent," or whatever Oppenheimer said.

This is a lesson in not having high expectations for unofficial live events and not getting obsessed with or idolizing characters and celebrities.
  • I've seen pretty much all the Bluey episodes cuz of kids. People like it cuz: - Beautiful animation - Great use of music - Cute wholesome stories - The Heeler family is super endearing - Great continuity episode to episode in the background - Very cleverly written. There's a 8 min episode that covers all of the evolution of life on Earth (single cell orgs -> Space faring civ) - It doesn't sound as brain dead as some other kids tv that can drive adults insane

"I dont think they're watching Bluey sexually." Boy Charlie, you underestimate the depravity of the internet.

Bluey is such a good childrens show. Its so easy to just sit and watch it with my kid, we both love it. I cant imagine being bamboozled like these folks.

One thing I really love about Bluey is the colour choices. The colour palette chosen is based entirely off the colours that a dog can see.

I think something news stations forget is that kids will cry over ANYTHING. "Kids were crying" doesn't mean a whole lot. When I was growing up, I had a 10 year age gap with my younger cousins, so by the time they were talking in sentences, I was already a teen. I vividly remember a time when they were still toddlers and we came across a man walking his dog. The younger cousin said they wanted to "pet the kitty". I explained to them in a kind and informative voice that it's actually a dog and they started crying and saying "why isn't it a cat?"

The irony of the ad banner at the bottom of the screen saying "knotty little snack" as Charlie talks about Bluey's dad being a "sex icon".

I got a shirt with bluey on it holding an ar-15 and the shirt says pedophiles aren’t people

"Thanks for ruining my three-year-old's day!" Lady, they're three. There's a ninety percent chance your kid won't even remember it.

Bluey did not deserve any of this. It was created by a father based on his everyday experiences with his daughters. It's a passion project created out of pure love, dedication, and sincerity for his daughters and the animation genre. How the internet managed to out-dedicate and out-sincere him is beyond me.

"I think its people that just really like the cartoon" As a former brony, that is EXACTLY the same reason bronies tuned in to watch MLP. It was just a really good show. Also, Bronies ARE in fact, still around. They're just a lot more niche and smaller now.
