The first time I heard Andrae was in '71... A friend called me over... it was important... we went into his bedroom and he stuck the 8-track tape in the portable player ...but before he turned it on he stuffed a towel under the door ... his 'pastor' dad didn't like "that" kinda music... but I was hooked!... still am. No other Christian artist ever moved me with their music like him.

My mum grew up with Andrae Crouch she would blast his songs every morning which is why my siblings and I love his songs, an amazing talent who touched millions lives,mum still blasts all these songs . Thank you Andrae for sharing your talent and the word of God. RIP 💕

So blessed over the years by his songs. Andraè's songs were the foundation of my Christian life. What a legend! Am in awe of this legendary genius from God to mankind.

Adrae did a mixture of singing and teaching with very little loud shouting as so many others do Thank you Lord for having him clarify so many things I wish I could have met him. A fellow stutterer.
