Nvidia seems to have a brand loyalty comparable to Apple. It is overwhelmingly psychological in nature.
  • @yissnakklives8866
I think its hysterical that so many people treat changing out a piece of hardware like breaking up with a significant other....

Bought my 7900 XT a few weeks ago and so far i love it. A few growing pains from switching from my 1070, but love it so far. Also great to not be forced into having a pointless account just so i can use geforce experience. Was odd to just be allowed to update my 700+ dollar GPU. Felt like i left an abusive relationship and experiencing love for the first time in years.

I switched over to a 7900xt when I built my current PC. This card was SO much cheaper than a comparable Nvidia card, which I couldn't even find at the time where I live. It's been an amazing card for 1440p gaming
  • @whitedragondojo
Interesting: I used Radeon for 15 years out of loyalty and my only issue was heat, so I became an expert in cooling. I switched to Nvidia 2070 3 years ago and honestly I see no difference. I will be happy to purchase based on value in the future. No more brand loyalty after the last 12 months of irresponsible upgrades and pricing.

I had a RTX 2070 super, and switched to a AMD 6950xt. Had it for about 8 months now. And I must say that I’ve had no issues on both cards. I’m not a tech master but I did build my own computer and trouble shoot issues myself. Honestly I prefer AMD because it’s more price friendly and I really like the adrenaline software better then Nividas. I’ve hear horror story’s in both ends, but I will say that AMD has come along way. And I hope intel improves too. We definitely need more options for GPUs. Good luck on your builds!

my 7900xtx is a beast. switched to that from 3080 and am very happy

I've been using my 7800xt since launch and love it so far. I was initially sceptical about amd gpus because of all the bad press surrounding it but I didn't want to buy into nvidia's absurd gpu prices, so I took the leap of faith and decided to go team red for my next upgrade. It does not dissapoint!

Long time Nvidia user here. I've owned 1 AMD card over the last 20+ years. Was a little unsure but I picked up a 6700 a few months ago and it's been flawless. The software is a huge plus. Simple and intuitive. Undervolting and recording are a snap. I'd use it just for the fact that it doesn't require login.
  • @dnz113
just bought a rx 7900 xtx and all I can say is that it is amazing and delivers as expected. I also personally love the Adrenaline Software in my opinion it is way better than GeForce Experience since you have everything in one place.
  • @DaddyPoppe79
Have used Radeon since 9700 Pro, so for many years. Had problems once with Subnautica, wrote to AMD regarding my problem 48 hours later they sent me a link with new drivers
  • @AtomicBlastoid
Rendering and Editing Apps Like After effects etc works perfectly?
  • @braden4526
I've been running AMD for the past couple of builds, and have really never had any major issues (outside the norm that is). I just upgraded from a 5600 XT to an XFX Merc 310 7900 XT, and couldn't be happier with the performance and aesthetics of the card. It works great with both Linux and Windows, so pretty much covers everything that I need out of a card
  • @infinitywulf
Been using ATI/AMD cards for forever, and honestly I think most of the folks complaining about Radeon cards especially these days either didn't know what they were doing (didn't remove Nvidia drivers completely before installing AMD etc), managed to get a bad card which happens with anything, or the most likely one to me, they have never used an AMD card and are simply regurgitating the same old crap that everyone does. Glad you tried it out and had a good experience, lot of money to be saved if you don't buy into the hype/bs
  • @Top_Cheeze
The shader compile issue can happen on any GPU, I've had this same issue on my nvidia GPU in 2023 at least (RTX 3070) Seems to be very game specific
  • @ZeroFuxBE
Hi, the apex legends issue at 4:30 is not an AMD thing. I get this on my GTX 1440 swell. Always after updates or switching from or to dx12.
  • @Drubonk
Went from a 3060ti to a 7900xtx, drivers has been solid and it's great to have everything in one place :D Been using the overlay a lot when tweaking clocks & undervolting
  • @analogGigabyte
I love how underated Radeon cards are! I always find great deals and get absolute bang for my buck. I used to be an Nvidia user in the early years, until Radeon became a much better value per dollar option for my gaming addiction
  • @Rookblunder
I have a i-5, GTX 1080, 16 gb RAM. Gonna start a new build and I just got the Ryzen 9 7950x3D and looking into the 7900xtx. Do you think I'll notice an improvement.......:)
