Man, Crossovers were the best thing that happened in cartoons back in the days. I still wished they would still do it nowadays, though I'm happy to see alot of crossovers when I was a kid.

Between this and the since-discontinued VS series from AnimatedJames, It just goes to show that it is possible to have 2 different media franchises crossover and make it work (especially since both of the respective fanbases for Sonic and FiM have had their share of ups and downs and Sonic himself has had crossovers, before). It also helps that it's written by people who have a love (or mutual respect) for both series. While this video is much older (and does show its age in some places), it surprisingly holds up. Plus, the speech Sonic gave to Tails near the end upon giving one of the rings as a birthday gift... a beautiful moment that shows why the two remain friends for as long as they have.
