Can you beat Sonic R WITHOUT JUMPING?

Please don't watch until the end.
In case you didn't notice, this challenge has a much smaller scope than some of my other ones. I have decided that I am going to try a few easier challenges like this one (maybe not THIS easy again though) to give myself a break from the challenges that take a whole month and two videos to make. I will return to bigger challenges eventually, I just want a break and I hope you all understand.

By the way, I was playing the PC version with mods installed to restore the lighting to how it looked on the Sega Saturn and to make the resolution higher in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

1 like = 1 pray for Tails Doll, he is treated like a demon but he was just built to race and only appeared active in Sonic R.

I remember trying to beat Metal Knuckles in my first run of the game. Yikes, he's brutal when you're new to the game.

I forgot that this was a no jumping video and thought it was just a play through but then when there was the medal on the rock and he said he thought he would have to jump, I remembered

4:25 You can just open the door, ignore the emerald (as, not wait for its bouncing effect to end), and get it in the next lap.

Nice video,and you gave me the idea to try to speedrun it without jumping. And one more thing, you should play in snow, water then turns to ice, which means no water slowing you down.

In the settings of the game theres the option to choose the weather. Changing the weather to snow/winter makes this challenge much easier
