“I understand what he was saying, these NBA dudes are extremely athletic. They be 6’8 and move similar to what a football player will be doing out there, but we’re not talking about going and doing a combine…these dudes ain’t getting out of one football game, let alone talking about being able to play in the NFL is a zero shot.”

It definitely takes skill to play basketball. However, the physicality of football is something you have to mentally prepare for.

Davante is such a G man. As real as they come. Authentic and a Man of Character

"These boys don't even be going to college for more than five minutes." Woooo.. Something something shots fired.
  • I had forgot just how big Shannon is. This dudes a giant
  • Great analogy. I used to play amateur football as a running back. Now, tell anybody that for 90mins of practice you’re taking 70 max effort sprints and from top speed, fall to the ground. They think your being silly. Ann like Davante said, that is still without hitting, grabbing, twisting and trying to breaknout from all of those. Football is a different sport.
  • Do a crossover NFL vs. NBA in a basketball game and a football game. I know, it will never happen, but I would tune in.
  • Austin rivers also said Jaden McDaniels would lock up Luka and sweep em 😂
  • He basically saying NFL players are smarter than NBA players 😂😂😂

Great points by these guys. Probably the best conversation I've watched on this topic.

I give NFL and many of these pro players props. They are far more articulate and intelligent than typically projected.
  • A NBA player rolls his ankle he’s out 2 months on load management a NFL player rolls his ankle he’s out on the field in 2 weeks

I always think about the thought experiment from Tiki Barber. Fall down naturally on your bed with as many pillows as you want. Do that 25-30 times and see how that feels.
  • You can see the differences in muscle texture with football and basketball. You can actually see how dense football players muscles are compared to your typical NBA build. Years of impact makes the specific look. Thay being said....basketball players do look sick AF. My favorite by far
  • Austin needs to watch that old video of Henderson telling an assistant John to slap him then he runs through the hallways all hyped screaming Dudes are literally trying to kill you out there every play
  • @Jaydeeyo54
This got me thinking, Russell Westbrook as a CB or Wideout would have been amazing to see
  • @ND-9
There are a few dawgs in the NBA. The NFL is filled with Apex Predators.
