thanks don for shouting out the local Downhill buffalo Race! You've been a great help sponsoring our events and having us at the shop.
  • Don Early is a true OG and just a really good person. It’s funny watching this, because having worked for him at Future Sk8 many many many moons ago way before this current chesterfield location, I’d be sitting with him on his couch at his home and he proudly showed me everything shown in this interview and much much more. Don is an absolute hoarder and his collection of skateboard history is truly monumental on an insane level. When he first showed me this stuff I was absolutely mind blown. And everything has a vivid story from Don’s memory to go with it. He’s got a bunch of really cool and unique Neil Blender artwork too. I mean it just goes on and on. Genuine dude! Glad to see he’s still at it. The dude is so passionate about skateboarding that he’ll be doing this until the day he dies

Thx for making this. Don sold me my first legit set up. It was a walker nightmare 2. A bunch of my close friends were on the future sk8 team in the late 80s early 90s.

Growing up in San Diego, we were pretty spoiled with skate parks, skate companies, etc. basically the hub of So Cal. Vert skateboarding back in the 70s and 80s. It’s amazing how many other places around the country have rad skate scenes as well that you just don’t think about . Awesome video that shop looked amazing!
