I have dyslexia, dyxcalcula, ADHD & memory impairment. I had to go to court to file for Child support for my 2 children, I requested accomodations when the hearing was finally coming up after 6 1/2 years. Due to my low income I could not afford an attorney & had to represent my self, I was told there was no accomodations for this type of Disability. After a virtual hearing I noticed they miscalculated child support for the years and number of children, I had to file a motion so they can correct there mistakes since there is a state guideline they go by can show where they made clerical mistakes & with my disability I could not correct at the moment. After I picked up the court notes is when it was obvious, it's been 7 months since this hearing I call to get updated in my motion with no resolve. I was told to file a new motion but why if they have not responded to the first one. The father has an attorney that must know this mistake benefits him. I have to now pay an attorney to recalculate what the court should have done with the correct information that was provided. This has caused me extreme financial hardship & emotional distress, Just knowing there are other like me or worst, to know they can be taken advantage of due to a disability really hurts.

To the Handicapped of the US,the ADA rules >>> have changed! And they may end up hurting you and other people. I am a 71 year old mail I live in Kennewick ( State of Washington ) that uses Ben Franklin Dial - A – Ride (There number 735-0160 ). I have two collapsed disk in my lower back with pain and can not even stand up from my electric wheel chair at all because of arthritis in my crippled knees,I can not walk at all and have to use a lift that raises me up to the level of my bed, then I can slide over in to my bed. Dial -A -Ride here in Kennewick Washington is trying to put some handicapped people off Dial-A-Ride after a short use of 3 months and then put them on the regular bus system ,so,what is that bouncing around bus going to do to my back ... it will make it worse, for me using a bus,bus seems to be harder on my back, but Dial-A-Ride seems to be a softer to ride for me for some reason. Yes,if my back is over done,I can spend up to 3 days or more in bed. And it is also harder for me now sense I am 71 to take the heat and cold. Yes, there are new rules being dictated by the ADA US Gov mostly, who funds Dial A Ride. Could you think of only being given 3 months of Dial A Ride service … and then cut off, an old person, then having to fight the weather conditions waiting for a regular bus is cruel. Oh I mite add electric Wheelchairs on ice and snow really do not work,so,how are we to get to a bus any way. There is an old guy that lives where I do and he can only stand for 5 minuets, he is on oxygen (hard to breath ) and uses a electric wheel chair and there is some thing wrong with his heart and back ….. he, is only getting 3 months Dial A Ride service in summer, that is cruel also. And,in the heat that’s,starting here, what is that heat going to do to some other ones that have been cut off or will be, they will be waiting for a bus. People should be very angry and say .. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! And what about the possibility of being robbed at a bus stop,a handicapped person can not really fight back that much ( hell, the US Gov does not care about others, and, I have seen handicap people harassed at a bus stop and it’s scary because we have gangs operating around this area. And, there have been recent robberies in the Kennewick Pasco area ( Washington State. I have developed a phobia about bus stops and it ... scares me. Loosing Dial A Ride is going to hurt a lot of Handicapped people. For God sakes, …….when oh when are the American people going to stand up and fight the ADA and tell them your hurting people!!! And, how about the money given to Iran and other countries when that very same money could have been used to help Handicapped people here and in other places... and how about the other waste in US Government? I think if the real truth be known I think the US Gov and ADA and possible other wishes we would all die off so they would not have to fund us. Yes ,when OH WHEN are people finally going to stand up for the handicapped. Really ….. WHEN??? Also there has been talk of a class action lawsuit and it could end up in national US news. People, call Dial-A-Ride and the ADA and tell them this is not right, call your senators and others and tell them. They are playing God

There is no close caption on this video so how do deaf and hard of hearing poeple understand what she talking about
  • This article seemed as if they were talking about my cognitive problems at work. I have all the symptoms and I used all of the interventions to help. I am out on disability right now because my agency did not provide the appropriate modifications. I am a Social Worker.

I need a copy of the amendment that covers medication . Pharmacist refusal without a law to support .. after being given a legal scrip following nevada laws and federal. "Personal" choice being said by a pharmacist #18031 Tae Kim . As a c4 quadriplegic this impacts me .. As medication to sustain living with paralysis issues can not just be withheld. Due to others in this state abusing drugs ..including drs and pharmacist caught last year .. we patients with monthly needs for medication are being put through a circus act pharmacist don't even publish for review. Chronic spinal cord injury does not allow for personal reasons to safeguard a license from fear thou compliance is there. I need you to step up and help. It's been in our local news .. keeps changing and now ridiculous.
