their voices sound so freaking good with each other and his voice just gives me chills every time 🫶🏼
  • Its unbelievable how everything he puts out is so amazing. Zach puts his soul into his music.

Not sure where I picked Zach Bryan up from, but it started with liking 1 or 2 songs ("condemned" "Let you down" "No cure" "Something in Orange") Now it doesn't even matter what song it is. You hear pain in his voice and deep ass lyrics on every track he puts out. Nice to see raw talent in the music game these days, one of my favorite artist for sure.
  • I never did manage to find that father I so badly hoped for in anyone. The older I get through, the more the hatred the world tells me to feel for my s**t father turns into sadness - as it's always been. You can't drink, sleep, dance, or work away the real feelings deep down, but you can sure sing them to yourself in a quiet room.

Rot gut whiskey's going to ease my mind Beach towl rest on the drying line Do i remind you of your daddy in his '88 ford Labrador hanging out the passenger door The sand from your hair is blowing in my eyes Blame it on the beach, grown man dont cry Do you remember that beat down basement couch Id sing you my love songs and youd tell me about How your mama ran off and pawned her ring I remember, i remember everything.. A cold shoulder at closing time You were begging me to stay till the sun rose Strange words come on out a grown man's mouth when his mind's broke Pictures and passing time you only smile like that when youre drinkin' I wish i didnt but i do Remember every moment on nights with you Youre drinking everything to ease your mind When the hell are you going to ease mine Youre like concrete feet in the summer heat It burns like hell when two souls meet No youll never be the man that you always swore But ill remember you saying it in that '88 ford Cold shoulder closing time you were begging me to stay till the sun rose Strange words come on out of a grown man's mouth when his mind's broke Pictures and passing time you only smile like that when youre drinking I wish i didnt but i do Remember every moment on nights with you Cold shoulder closing time you were begging me to stay till the sun rose Strange words come on out of a grown man's mouth when his mind's broke Pictures and passing time you only smile like that when youre drinking I wish i didnt but i do Remember every moment on nights with you Rot gut whiskey's going to ease my mind Beach towl rest on the drying line Do i remind you of your daddy in my '88 ford Labrador hanging out the passenger door

He killed it. They both did. This is a true classic imo.
  • The line " your like concrete feet in the summer heat, it burns like hell when two souls meet..." perfect.

There was a girl who came into my life around the time this song came out. I let her move in my dads house with me. I loved her so much. We would stay up all night drinking and just talking about everything. Eventually we tried to move out together and things just changed so much. I wish i could get that sweet girl i remember those long nights with back. Id give anything to relive just one night.
