I do photorealism so it genuinely amazes me when I see artists not using references. My drawings rely on them because they have to look realistic, but I envy artists who can draw straight from their head without having to worry about making everything perfect.

Have you ever tried watercolour pencils? I feel like they would really suit your style π Also could you do a tutorial on drawing black hair, I am struggling to draw box braids so I just settle with afro-puffs instead ππ€¦πΎββοΈ
