Transatlantic flights from Ireland are always a bit shorter, but that doesn't mean the seat is any less comfortable, or the food any less plentiful.

  • I worked for Aer Lingus for over seven years and had to resign when I got married... even now 55 years later.. when I see the shamrock on the aircraft high up in the sky my heart flutters with pride☘️
  • @flyzane
I flew Aer Lingus in December from Dublin to Boston and my aircraft was one of the newer A330s. I found the service amazing and the crew were very friendly!
  • These are getting really frequent! I always love waking up in the morning to find a new simply aviation trip report
  • @babayaga8640
just flew aer lingus from düsseldorf to seattle with a stopover in dublin and i absolutely loved it! the pre clearance in dublin makes travel so much easier for non us passengers and aer lingus is a brilliant choice on transatlantic flights
  • @jack74593
I actually really like Aer Lingus, their food is actually pretty nice, the seat is really comfy and there's not much to complain about :D
  • @cocazade7703
The US Pre Clearance in Dublin is great. Last year when I flew to Boston, I arrived at a domestic gate and it was the quickest exit from the airport ever. Literally 5 minutes walk to the taxis

Great flight. Feels privileged having preclearance facility in home airport. I think this aircraft is workhorse, after arriving from Paro and doing turnaround, it's departing for Transatlantic flight after that. Looks like blanket stored somewhere by flight attendant and will be provided by request since this flight counted as daytime flight.
  • I've always found Aer Lingus crews to be very friendly and helpful, comfortable seats and nice food. Thumbs up from me.
  • Great review. I also like that you can enter the US already in Dublin and after that you don't have to waste sometimes hours at the border control in the US
  • @dica7684
Preclearance is simply amazing! I spent 2 hours at the JFK customs after an 8:30 hrs flight, that was outrageous! Hope this procedure will expand to many more airports.
  • I really enjoy watching these videos as l will never do them myself, going along for the trip is just like being there...thank you
  • @marcofkosi
I flew in Aer Lingus on this exact flight in February, really nice experience
  • @TheHorsebox2
Aer Lingus must have the one of the best safety records in aviation, if not the best.
  • Used this flight in December 2017 and I fully recommend, immigration carried out at Dublin took 20 minutes saving 90 minutes at JFK and I recommend taking the meal upgrade if it's available, I had steak outward and salmon on the return, plus you get served first! It's a win/win and the only time I have eaten all of my in-flight meal.
  • I agree with what you said about pre-clearance. I have experienced that travelling from Canada to the U.S. Very convenient!
  • You’ve got great hands Felix.... Thumbs up for who wants to see more of his face! 👍👍👍
  • Flew Aer Lingus last year from Boston, it was super comfortable! The food was kind of a miss for me but the cabin and crew were superb! Great content guys!
  • When you think of Irish airlines only two come to mind, the flag carrier Aer Lingus and the budget airline Ryanair. Both airlines are nice but when it comes to service Aer Lingus goes over the top
  • The A330 flight looks comfortable enough with Aer Lingus. But back in the day their 747s on transatlantic flights were so much roomier and spacious.!.Memories.
  • @777cpt
Great video, I really hope that Aer Lingus upgrade their A330's to the A330-900NEO
