  • I have crossed The Lake Pontchartrain bridge over a thousands time. My father help to build this bridge, he tied steel. He was a skill iron worker/rod buster. He would tell us how he had to swim in the water and walk on high scalpers. Also, he helped to build the New Orleans Superdome/Mercedes. Lastly, he was in the Ironworker Union. I'm so very proud of my father. The late J, W. Monday, Sr.
  • Can we talk about how that thumbnail I was a little extra XD
  • John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
  • The "preview" bridge you use when sharing on social media isn't even in your slide deck. That's deceptive marketing and really irritating.
  • @Asheth
"which bridge was the most dangerous for you?" All of them. ALL OF THEM.
  • @ppheanix
So glad you included the grass bridge. I watched a documentary some years back showing how one group of women gathered the grass, then another group wove it into long strands about the diameter of their arm, and then the men joined these into the length of the span and then platted them into the main suspension spans ending up with what you show here.
  • I wonder how these bridges were built. Those people who built them were so intelligent and creative. I salute them. Thanks for sharing this marvelous scenes

I was just in Florida on a independence camp, actually, and my counselors drive over seven mile bridge many times, and thankfully nothing happened. It was also very nice to look at.

  • The Canopy walk at Kakum (Ghana) is a whole experience 😂
  • I like how he bent the bridge in the thumbnail to look like a water slide
  • I'm from Meghalaya ,the living bridge roots is not a dangerous bridge. It is God gift for us living here, natural beauty
  • Looool Kakum made this list. went on school trips when younger in Ghana. I’ve walked those 7 bridges several times. It is only scary when you are on the only one on the Bridge it seems it swings more. It is up very high in the tall trees of the rainforest. When you look down you can’t even see the ground. Oh I miss Ghana.
