I was at staff or stall for my 4th choice and I choose poorly. Lol! Strands was perfect. Connections, I fell for the red herring trap, but gotnitnin reverse order afterwards.

STALK could also just refer to the stem of a plant, the word itself isn't inherently predatory.

My go-to Wordle word is "ADIEU." Also a 4 for me. Strands would have been 7. I just missed the time deadline. I learned about "umami" today, but I already knew "piquant." You pronounced them correctly at the close. In Connections I fell for one red herring but got the categories in the end. It would have been an 8. ASPEN SHARD STALK STALL Strands was easy and quick. Got Connections with one error (my first guess had one from each category.) I could not have made a worse first guess.

Oranje, you continue to be in "a league of your own" compared to the other good players in Connections. I was able to get STALL/ TOWARD in three tries in Wordle and was OK in Strands. I was only able to get the blue category in Connections.

I got lucky today 2 two days in a row STALE STALL. (A 50/50 same as yesterday eg could have been stalk (which is a plant thing Orange doesn't need to be a bad word)). I started Strands with sweet and then sour and then spent a while looking for chinese food π
