If you're a very old Roblox player, you may remember Roblox's book hat series as an extensive lineup of book-shaped hats loved by the rich and poor alike. Nowadays, however, for most purposes except nostalgia-related ones, these hats are rarely worn. How did these hats rise to such importance in the first place, and what is the state of the series today? Let's find out.

    Fun fact, I am xXC0NTESTXx :) The darkseed book sales were rolled back shortly after the 1 tix bug, I remember cause I was super salty when people could get the hat I “worked so hard for” for only 1 tix… to be fair I tried so hard so many times on those contests to get the top prize, so finally winning one of the last ones made me super happy! 🎉 Still makes me laugh to this day to think I got a crazy rare item from free models 😂😂

    The reason most of the summer contest submissions were made of "free models" is because some roblox contests had templates you had to use to enter the contest

    Good video. One small minor little detail I thought I’d point out is that when an item has a “-“ for its value on Rolimons, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have any value, it just means Rolimons hasn’t assigned it a value. In those cases, it’s value would be its RAP.

    Thanks for your videos on old roblox. I joined roblox in 2010 at the ripe age of 6 and I was basically unable to understand anything that was going on on the site other than lolcatz and what i saw of 2007 videos on youtube. Thanks for giving insight on what it was really like because otherwise i wouldn't have any idea
