She’s probably in my top three people Bob has interviewed. Her joy of being a nomad is beautiful.
  • @jaimhaas5170
No doubt in my mind...she's packing heat along with those motion sensors.
  • @kathyweber793
Wow! She's my hero! I now am going to sell our 2+ acres and live in an RV. My husband just passed last week. We were both planning on living this way. So now I will have to do this on my own. I'm glad she spoke of security. Wow! 38 years on the road. That's amazing. I'm 67. Pretty strong willed person. Been a bus/charter driver for years so I'm used to the larger buses. But I think I want to go with no more than 25 feet. That and my 6 cats.
  • This lady has a great rig here. I've not given truck campers, let alone pop up truck campers much thought... Until now. Many points that truly caught my attention: the shower/bathroom plan, the 360° view (I'm a sucker for windows), accessibility to offgrid locations via truck, the height when "popped" and her take and experience in security. Thanks to this woman for giving us a glimpse of her life and her long experiences on the road, then and now. And thank you Bob for the video. I certainly found this information very helpful.
  • I am on year three of my van life, I’ve never been happier in my 48 years of life I’ve seen more I’ve done more and I don’t stress about things people normally stress about. Since living in a camper van my stress level has gone down 300%.

Charlotte is amazing!!! She’s got the lifestyle figured out. So much experience and confidence. I love it!
  • @shhhentient
I so appreciate her talking about natural and biodegradable personal care and cleaning products. I see so many nature lovers on the road overlooking this important factor.
  • Charlotte, you’re my hero. I wish you had a YouTube channel as you have so much experience in ever facet of being a nomad. Consider it.
  • @rmh691
Hard to believe she’s a loner. She’s so attractive, likable, personable, and magnetic that I think she would just attract lots of people to her naturally. I admire her confidence.
  • I like how she spoke on safety for women going solo. Its so important to feel safe.
  • @sjp6341
She's wonderful! Thank you Charlotte, I learned so much. I agree about the dishes. I have a friend whose house flooded, and he temporarily (2 years!) while things were rebuilt, only used a bowl and a spoon and a coffee cup and a rice cooker , and he realized that's all he needed!
  • @lindasams6058
I'm so excited to get started 💓 I bought my van Friday July 1, 2022. WhooooooHoooooooo
  • @cj2467
I’m also a female in a truck camper and absolutely love it! Charlotte is awesome and I would love to see how she rigged up her motion detector lights! Neat lady!
  • @okiejammer2736
Holy. Moly. She is ME, WAITING TO HAPPEN. Thank you both.
  • Charlotte is my favorite video on your entire channel! She has everything thought out carefully. Bob, you should try to get her on your staff. She'd be an amazing contributor.
  • @paulywally1957
She is comfortable in her own skin. Her Joy and outlook on life comes from within. To live life without any regret and to be content with the simple pleasures of nature and life and to live without any inner strife. I think this is how God wants us to enjoy this life.
  • @rebelgirl7289
I've been watching your videos for years and I have to say this is my favorite set up. If I had the funds, I could do it. Charlotte has a great attitude and is very knowledgeable. Like someone previously said, she would be a great spokesperson or at least an RTR class leader. Brains, brawn and personality. Thanks, Bob, for the video, Charlotte for the tour.
  • @ladikmk
What a great rig and Charlotte is a lovely lady with a wealth of nomad experience to share. Thanks Bob!
  • Rugged individualism is what shows. I just adore her. The wisdom is almost infectious. With her husband they must have had great joy. A simple life is the happiest life. Love ❤️ her comfortable home with awesome security. She needs a channel to post periodically. I learned tons just with this interview. She has so much to pass down. What an inspiration she is. Thank you so much for sharing.
  • I would like to add an FYI for all you nomads who don’t know how they’re going to make money on the road… I can assure you, choose a city you’d like to stop and walk into the busiest restaurant ask them if they would like a dishwasher for at least two weeks, 90% of the time they’re going to say yes, and if they say no you move onto the next restaurant somebody will say yes. You work two weeks you have enough money to last you for months, really there’s all kinds of odds and end jobs you can do. Car washes are also GREAT to get temp work.
