Performing a Cobra Landing in SimplePlanes! (or atleast trying to)

There was once a badass SU-33 pilot who attempted to land on their aircraft carrier by snagging the hook during a Pugachev’s Cobra Maneuver. Their hook didn’t catch, but they flew away unfazed. We may never truly know what could’ve happened, had they caught the arresting wire, but today we can give y’all an “accurate” representation of what may have happened. Or not. Honestly I’m not even sure, SimplePlanes physics is a hell of a drug.

    realistically, you'd have to start pugachev's cobra BEFORE you even get near the carrier, because when you do, you'll glide a bit and you'll be able to catch the wires. Probably go low near the bottom of the carrier, then when you're close just tilt it back into the cobra nd you should be able to do it, you can also do it in DCS World

    I was playing SP in my living room with a falken adf-01 replica, I was trying to land on the USS beast in a normal way, in one of the attempts I raised the nose of the plane up, and I landed, 5 seconds later I realized that I made my first cobra landing by accident, everything was a success.

    I tried this with a different plane with thrust vectoring and I found out it depends on how good the Landing gear is

    Mabey try putting a gyroscope and set speed and stabilitty to max same for pitch range and you did a cobra landing wala! I tried that and i made it!
