Gave the man a bag of mangos to carry home. That is some real old school south Trinidad humbleness and hospitality. Im glad u went to experience it.

That rasta can sing. To me he is better than every wannabe gangster singing in t&t today.

Chris,The original breakfast shed was a building on the Wharf, where most of the cooks were from Grenada/Saint Vincent..they cooked for the men that did hard labor loading and off loading the cargo ships..In my time there were about 12 different stalls, and everyone had their favorite place to eat..You got a complete meal back then, water cress, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce was always included in your meal, and they also had sea moss, mauby, barbadine drinks..They always had Oxtail,Cow heel,Fish Broth soups...The most expensive meal was $5.00....The best days my friend...these young people will never know how good we had it..
-
Honestly I have to agree that you can't go to Trinidad without visiting the Pitch Lake.. the history of it will blow your mind..

I am so very proud of these guys and the choice they choose to make. Living with one love and unity. โค

Chris, this is the best community video you have made since you are in Trinidad. positive young men living a humble and honest life. They show real love, not like the bunch of killers who say they are on love, but they walk around with big guns and killing and steeling from others.
-
Wasnโt expecting my brother to have such a beautiful voice like that and words. May Allah bless him and his loved ones and all my ppl in TnT ๐ฅ

South is the safer part of Trinidad. Good people, good vibes, good food.

This video brought tears to my eyes. This is the Trinidad that I know. โค and community. Oh how I wiah the North communities would put down the guns and start loving each other again. Thanks for showing a positive side of ghetto ๐น๐น. Keep up the good work๐

Thank Christ must list. I am a Trinidadian living in Saskatchewan Canada..Marbella is my stumping ground. I actually was born and raised in Claxton Bay but went to school in Marbella and San Fernando. Thank you so much. I enjoyed seeing ๐ home.

Chris so much respect for your authenticity and the fact that you can engage with folks that may not agree with you in a respectful manner is amazing! We have to be able to engage with each other and do our best to understand where the other person is coming from. Love and respect to everyone in this vlog. So proud of ๐น๐น๐คฒ๐ฝโค๏ธ

1 thing that hits home was when you were in the yard and the fish was being prepared and you said you love how friendly the neighbors are and everyone can hang and get along.....right so it is for us in Belize. We don't need to clubs or no bars to have fun, Light 1 BBQ grill or cook something on the stove and it's a party/hangout. Lastly I'm glad you went to the south and meet up with the Ras and heard his side of the Story. The Ras got a point about what may happen when you leave. You agreed that some of these guys may just use you to flex their power. All in all....I'm glad it all turned out good and everyone showing love! Big up the Ras....Manners and Respect from Belize. ๐ซก๐ง๐ฟ๐ค๐น๐น

Chris the interview at the end was something we needed to hear not only to clear the air but to show that you fully understand what exactly is going on in this country. I live here and i absolutely hate it here because it's too much gang violence, corruption and cost of living is too damm high. Innocent poor people are the only ones that suffer and we don't have anything to defend ourselves with, the best and only option is to migrate to another country which I'm trying to do because it's only going to get worse. What you said here that people need someone to talk to and people need mental health is absolutely true but there's much much more to the story with the gang violence, the gangsters just aren't telling you ever single detail. Great video chris.

It was very refreshing to watch a positive vlog to see the togetherness of this community. I didn't hear the government being blamed for their lifestyle. I have never visited this part of the country. You have enlightened your subscribers as myself because I was not aware of so many different gang members. This is an educational and learning process for me, Blessings for your good content and honesty in your production. Enjoy and be safe๐โค
