That photo was taken 17 years before 9/11. It's been 17 years since 9/11. Time sure flies, doesn't it?

Imagine cruising down the Japanese countryside to this track in a 1980's Toyota.

The intro of this song and the cover of this album is so nostalgic to me. It makes me feel some inexplicable feelings.

今日初めてこの曲を聴いた日本人だけど、海外からのコメントばかりでびっくり! めっちゃいい曲ですね! 大橋純子さん、安らかに。

The Japanese didn't just love us, they loved New York. So many album covers where it's just a picture of NYC for no reason.
-
dem vocals tho

it wasn't till today I found out about her passing and it was because I was listening to her songs and wanted to know how old was she. Rest in peace, Junko. Thanks for everything, I've been listening to your music since 2018 and I didn't know you were fighting Cancer since that year. You'll be missed but I feel relieved won't have to suffer now, we love you so.

Junko Ohashi was my musical juggernaut, when I was 13 I use to put on this very song everyday because I couldn’t get enough of it, I vividly remember rewinding this song numerous times to the point where I would never get to the ending because every point of this song was beautiful to me. Her music would always get me through different points of my life even if I was mad at the world and not happy with my current state of life, I’m now a sophomore in high school and seeing her death also pulled the plug on the music side of my life. I hope you are resting in peace knowing you made people smile with your music. Even through death your essential soul will live on and your essential music. Whoever is behind this account, thank you for helping making this women known, you are deeply in my gratitude
