Israel can not take any deal that will further endanger greater Israel. Yes, the frustrations of the families of the hostages are well understood. However, Israel must take steps to ensure that not only getting the hostages back, but to ensure that Hamas does not have the capacity to cause the sort of terrorism like the October 7, 2023 in Israel. The ICJ judgement required Hamas to release the hostages unconditionally and Israel to apply humanitarian steps to avoid commission of war crimes and to allow humanitarian corridor and aids to Gaza.
