Well done on the hammered coin it's always nice to find. Pity about the cold weather I always over wrap myself and take layers of if it gets too warm.

Well done on the Hammered Tessy. Didn’t seem to be anyone on that field with you. That’s sometimes a sign people have moved on to hopefully a better field. I’m out with LGD tomorrow they are near me and not been any snow here. 😊

Well done on tje hammered tessy 😃👍. unfortunately they don't always come out flat in in tact. but silver is silver 👍. not sure how the fields were for you, but a good tip for mud fields like that is to put socks over your boots. the mud won't stick then 🙂👍

old recipe for straightened a hammered boiling sauce pan of water, 30 second at the time, a pastry roll, a cloth and gently press and repeat several times not in one go
