At one point, he was a king. A lifestyle that 99% of people could only dream of. 500 million views in 2015. $200,000 a month during his peak. And his name was FouseyTube. However, over time, FouseyTube AKA Fousey has slowly fallen out of the spotlight, declining rapidly since his heyday on the platform. How could such a downfall have occured? This video will go over the story of Yousef Erakat. In the Rise and Fall of FouseyTube (Mini Documentary)

Song from 8:47 - 11:24 is "Distant Shores" from the Pixelmon OST, written and composed by Chris Geddes. You can find the original song here -    • Pixelmon OST - Distant Shores   and his bandcamp here - chrisgeddes.bandcamp.com/

Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, Sunny XO ❤

  • It’s so difficult to watch someone embarrass themselves like that when they’re clearly having a severe mental break, it’s sad that no one close to him at the time stopped him from acting like that.

the amount of research and editing that goes into these videos always blows my mind. I don't know how you're able to release as often as you do

i used to watch him growing up and it sucks how everyone treated him when he was clearly going through shit mentally, he seems to be doing good now tho
  • I used to watch him in his prime, when his positivity was through the roof. His positive attitude admittedly got me through my deployment in 2015…. He’s a good example of what social media and quick fame will do to ones mind.. Always trying to push the limits only goes so far with the internet. I wonder what his life would have been had he chose a legit career path where his tenacity and work ethic would have shined.

Damn maybe his professor was right, doing YouTube was the worst thing he could do to himself.

I grew up around Bipolar people and it still breaks my heart to see those going through manic or depressive episodes all while being filmed during it. Hope he's doing well right now and wish him all the best.

we're going to need a part two to this video, Fousey's comeback NEEDS to be studied...

I feel really bad for this guy tbh. He seemed like a really nice and genuine guy at the beginning who had a lot of passion but got corrupted by fame and fortune and tortured by the pressure of being famous, which drove him nearly to the point of insanity. It sucks that such a fate had to happen to him but I hope he's in a better place mentally now and can enjoy himself.

The RuneScape background music goes hard ngl
  • Whos here after he just swatted himself on stream and waiting for a part 2? Sunny we are waiting.....
  • @KristenLushia
I would wake up every morning and watch his vlogs as i ate breakfast. I loved how open and honest he was about everything
  • @lynette9815
I actually feel bad for this one, he seems like a genuine guy who was hungry for success and worked his ass off towards that, and paid with his mental health. I hope he's okay

I do respect Fouseytube for making it without being born into wealth. Can't tell you how angry i get seeing "I'm just a 20 year old who didn't know what I wanted to do and now I"m living my dream on youtube!" And it turns out they live in Beverly hills and their parents own a million dollar company
  • This older video came upon my feed at just the right time in Summer 2023. Man what is going on with this man? It is about time for an update Sunny, I know you are working on it!
  • @wudaa2524
YouTube is a vicious cycle. You have creators like sunny that report facts and tell stories but a majority of them target each other. A lot of It is justified in the moment but in retrospect it’s always so sad when you learn the full story like that of Fousey
  • @TDMHeyzeus
I'm stalking you without subscribing deal with it
  • Bipolar is no joke. Maniac episodes can last anywhere from hours to months. During that time (if the episode is not that bad) you can be very productive. And after that, a depression episode happens and you can literally blow away everything that you've done. Because your mood is switching from and extreme to another, it can be near impossible to stay on track. I'm sorry that people are not more forgiving of him.

This guy has incredible talent hands down. Looking at his later videos, they're just very high quality and look like he takes so much time to research his topic, record, and edit each video. I want to see this guy make longer, documentary style videos into topics like these
