My favorite Dio tale: RJD arranged for taxis for some drunk kids (some of whom were teenage girls) stranded after his concert; RJD looked out for his fans and genuinely cared about them; he wouldn't leave them out on their own - that's a kind, decent and good man. Also, that this song - his song - he declared it belongs to everyone, it's everyone's song. RIP RJD. You are truly missed.

He was small in stature but had a voice so massive it could fill any concert hall or stadium.

Only Ronnie James Dio can make a song about rainbows sound so epic.
  • Confirmed Dio did not die. He was summoned to another universe because this song is other worldly.

The only reason the solo ended is because the guitar started to melt

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Dio back in the 80's and I must say that he was very nice and polite. He wasn't at all rude or snobby unlike some other rock stars who's names I won't mention. I wish he was still here with us today, as he was one of the very best.

That voice. It's like his vocal chords were lined with gold.

I was born in the 80s. The decade of awesome heavy metal music.
  • DIO was and is the true voice of Heavy Metal. R.I.P. Eternal Legend.

Dio trips me out. He was so normal off stage. You felt like you could ask him to go have a pint at the local pub and he'd be up for it. Only met him once informally, but absolutely down to Earth guy. No sign that he was a rock star.

An absolute classic, the Holy Diver album is Dio at the top of his game

OMG I wished all the songs from the 80's would make a come back !!! I love metal and classic rock. I may be 53 but inside, I feel like a teenager still. My love for Dio will never die !!

If you are here in 2k24 - then you remember the Man who changed the history of Metal. Men of GREAT culture. Years of fucking pure talents, not mumble rap
  • One of Ronnie's finest songs. When I saw him in concert performing this I got crazy. R.I.P. Ronnie. You are truly missed.
