  • Charlotte Lucas Murphy, you guys make it fun watching and also historical stuff .😊 I'm a 74 year old grandmother and enjoying the heck out of you guys. ❤
  • Man that wall was loaded! Lots of sweet bots all clustered up Congratulatory valve wide on the Parlor bottle 😎 Those early masons are fun to find. Way she goes on that variant Kilmers...still displays! The Find of the day has gotta be that one from Homer 🍀⚡🏴‍☠️
  • Boy, you boys are diehards. Most landowners don't like having you on their property after dark. You must have a charming way with the homeowners. Great finds, again!

Just doing the same research of CFJCo for Wheeler with his pint and glass lid Mason's Improved. Only (it) was made and advertised by 1877-1878 by Whitney Glass Co Glasboro NJ and Cohansey Glass of Bridgeton NJ ... and it would appear that Whitney could have made them as early as 1871 and up till sale of CFJCo to Hero Glass Works 1883 ... and the possible 2 years of continued CJFCo molds with the Hero Cross atop them for 1883-1885. So those CFJCo bots are 1871-1883, when CJFCo was a distributor and having jobber contracts making their jars. The list is extensive - and listed on Wheeler's site - of those glass houses known for making these jars.
  • Yep! Kidney and Liver Cure! that's the one we dug up in back there! Been so long ago but that was the one. Nobody had ever seen one before. I think the guy that we dug it with may still have it.

Well, what do you know, I have one of those small Dr. Kilmer's! Awesome pit fellas.
  • Hey, you are near where I live. Have you done any digging at the Ithaca area? I know where the old city dump is, and unfortunately a lot is covered by Lowes, Walmart, etc. I think there may still be areas, but they may have already been dug, My cousins had a bar a few miles south of Dryden NY and I know where they dumped their trash. I never got a chance to get permission to go there and look but I'll bet there are glass and glazed whisky bottles, possibly beer steins. Would love to join you guys sometime, but I am an old one, bad shoulders so can't do much digging, but I can scrape the hole once it has been dug.
  • You guys need better lighting. I feel like I missed all the cool digging. Cool bottles though.
  • You guy's find some nice Bots, but you don't know how to show them to lus. You say see that, and then you quickly set it down. We can't see anything you are showing us! Very irritating 😒 You need to brush up on your video skills.

Never thought I'd be spending my nights watching grown men dig through privy holes and wishing I could be there to take a turn. Now I'm looking up bottles and pottery on Google. Oooo aaaa, let me do it
