YOU WANT TO BE THE GOAT? YOU HAVE NO ACCOUNTABILITY

ESPN's Michael Wilbon ripped into LeBron James and Anthony Davis on Friday over the way they handled the end of the Los Angeles Lakers’ season.

The Lakers were eliminated from the postseason on Monday with a Game 5 loss to the Denver Nuggets in the first round. Four days later, the Lakers announced the firing of head coach Darvin Ham — an outcome that had been expected.

Wilbon expressed his frustrations over the Lakers' decision and called on LeBron to "take accountability" like one of the greatest basketball players in history should.

When you lose, "It's just basketball". When you win, "That one there made me the greatest of all time". Lebron can't get gone fast enough.

Why take accountability when you can just pay people in the media to blame everyone but you? 😂

This guy was the worst thing that ever happened to the nba, when he retires the league will improve to what it once was

People finally waking up to this fake goat . Dude is not in the top 5 but yet somehow in the goat conversation .
  • Dirk,Curry and Jokic have humiliated and humbled this man many times and the humble Tim Duncan had a more successful career but never talks about himself but only his teammates! That is a leader and class act!!

Respect to Michael Wilbon for speaking the truth in an industry that’s been lying for and catering to Lebron James. I believe many more ppl are passed tired of Lebron and all the BS he brings.

I mean, being on steroids automatically disqualifies you from the GOAT conversation.

If someone feels compelled to tell you they are the greatest, you know that they are not the greatest.

He's been on three teams. All three times. When he's lost. It's been excuses. He's never accountable for losing. He's celebrated when he wins. The media makes excuses for him. They'll blame everyone else except LeBron. He'll blame a team mate , coach or injury. How's that 🐐 like? He turns the ball over. He misses a clutch shot. It's still not his fault. Make it make sense!!!
  • This is why he was never in the conversation. So many of us knew he was hyped by the media and tried to replace Jordan. He was never that guy.
  • Last i checked Bird played with a terrible back and feet. He still played at a high level. I never heard Bird make a excuse for losing. When a player makes excuses they disrespect the team that beat them. All Bird would say is they were better tonight but we will be ready next game. Same with Jordan. LeCuse isn't a top 5. The longer he plays the farther down the list he goes.
