The music is not pre recorded. It is played by a YM2413 OPLL Chip.

Super cool video! I used to despise early 00’s Toy Soldier machines. Some local restaurants would have them installed and I spent god knows how much trying to win (50¢ per play back then.) on those plushies lol. I remember how bright these machines used to be! They’d light up room with the rope lights! It’s awesome you were able to get it working! I’d love to own a claw machine myself someday, but you seem to really know your stuff at just 16! maybe in the future you can install LED’s where the Rope lights are. Great video!

Released by coastal amusements in 2004.

Thats a very nice machine. The older ones are much nicer in my opinion. (And the Wu Mar Harng logo on the gantry is much better than the CA one) haha
-
I remember the Parkway Diner (in Elmwood Park, NJ) used to have a Toy Soldier (which cost $2.00 to play and it is Play Until You Win).
-
I think the newer ones have silver Wei-Ya supplies.

Nice Video! I definitely want to get a toy soldier some day, they're probably one of my favorite claw machines.
-
3:09 That's a crocodile. It does not have the Coastal name anywhere on the machine so its probably the Taiwanese version
-
In the USA, the music is replaced with on the floor and is distributed by Coastal Amusements. In another country like yours, they have this music and they are distributed by WMH/Paokai. Also, this claw machine was released in 2004. In another country, there are toy soldier 2 claw machines (Also made by Paokai) out there but they are not around the USA.

Could you advise what lock did you use to replace old locks? I have one exact same but no keys, thanks

Nice vid always wanted a claw machine what would you reccomend for a newbie?
-
How do you set the claw? Recently bought one. The claw only goes up and down but when your holding on to the drop button it goes side to side
-
Great video there's a claw machine that acts like it wants to eject like that did it was at a pizza man in Newton Illinois etc there's a Toy Soldier at the bowling alley in Fairview Heights it has balls in it and they have it where the claw opens up and because of that I barely won a ball
-
That’s a Paokai Version!!!
-
C.A stands for Coastal Amusements, the company that distributes paokai machines
-
How do you print out the 1 dollar to play stickers can I have a link or something to the website?
-
These and lots by paokai are more well made machine, i don’t own any claw machines (and have nowhere to put them besides the corner of my room) but if i did think of getting one i would definitely look out for this

I did know i saw the flea from ¡Mucha Lucha!

My toy soldier machine has been broken for a few years due to a board error but i was able to get a new board (its a older model one from the 2000s so the board was a bit tricky to find and I also perfer the older ones) and is should be here in a few days
