The intensity on defense was insane back then. I forget MJ was 6’6” and played like a 6’10” beast. The fact he was so dominant in the post, as a shooting guard, as well as on the break, and took such a physical beating still astounds me.

all the abuse jordan took especially during an era of BIG MEN and VERY PHYSICAL basketball. he still pushed through with blood and sweat. this is why he is the GOAT!!!!!!
  • Imagine playing with that kind of intensity on both sides of the court without taking games out... against guys that wanted to take you out... Now Imagine a guy averaging 30 plus points per game and being All Defensive Team and even Defensive Player of the Year once... There is no way to compare anyone to his Airness Greatness. #23 🐐

I feel bad for current NBA fans who think these are "rare heated moments." This is what the NBA used to be.
  • Back then the nba was so brutal only the strongest survive💪🏿.
  • Getting smacked down and pushed around every night and still being the best is just incredible

MJ, was definitely, a warrior and nothing wasn't getting in his way. MJ was unstoppable!! The comprehension in the reply and comment selection is just beyond saddening. I am not here in no way to speak bad about Michael Jordan, because he is the greatest. Firstly, Michael Jordan had an incredible work ethic. He was known for his dedication to the game and his relentless pursuit of excellence. He would spend countless hours practicing and honing his skills, always striving to be better. This level of commitment definitely played a big role in his success. MJ had a strong mindset about the game of basketball his determination, along with his mental toughness made him great! This type of mindset enables individuals to persevere through challenges and obstacles and to maintain a positive outlook even in difficult circumstances. MJ overcame it all with persistence. A warrior is a fighter or soldier, especially one in former times who was very brave and experienced in fighting.

Boys & Girls... THIS is how good basketball used to be. The paint was a meat grinder in the 80's & 90's. Teams weren't throwing up three pointers all night. They were banging it for 48 minutes down low.

this is when men played basketball, i loved watching basketball then, the league is soft and boring now, thats why i don't watch as much anymore
  • 0:15 "And they're friends also.." Which means that if they played in today's NBA they'd end up playing on the same team

MJ was so smart with his trash talking 😄

I remember it was tough back in the 90s especially those Knick teams...then again after getting past the Pistons, the Bulls knew how to handle the Knicks. No shot was easy, everything was contested.

I just found it funny that Dennis of all people, was separating MJ from people. Usually he is the one wanting to rough people up.
