I bought this chainsaw five years ago used for $30.00. The lady said her husband only used it to cut a few limbs and just sat there. I have used it to chop firewood and 16 inch logs from small to big. I just cranked it today after maybe 2 years in storage . Man! The sound and the power ! Two pulls and started. This thing is a beast!

I really like my 350...excellent for firewood. Mine also has a bulb for carb priming on the left side.
  • Thanks for taking the time to make the vid. Just been given one so nice useful info. 👍👍

Can someone tell me what is the purpose of pulling the starter rope out a little when shutting the saw down? Thanks...

My Dads had this same chainsaw for roughly 15 years and both love it but only problem we have with it is starting it in the winters , we live in Australia and lowest temps we get in winters in our area is around 10c so still a warm winter comapred to other places around the globe. but after its run for abit it will start first pull everytime. Definitely going to give this a try using the decompression valve on cold starts.
  • "Push the decompression button in to start" is what I've been looking for! I have had trouble starting this saw I inherited. I am eager to give it another go tomorrow now that I know what position that button is to be in for starting!
  • Does anyone know how to put the gasket back on the 350 chain saw oil cap

Good video. Got a 350. Can't figure out how to oil the chain.

I recently got a brand new Jonsered 2150 and after looking into it not being too familiar with the Jonsered named saws found out that husksvarna had aquired them some time ago and took the design and rebranded it the husky 350 here . my saw is pretty old it was the lady's husband's saw. he passed before getting to use it and it was never used but was stored indoors in a climate controlled place. my saw was made by Jonsered in Switzerland I forget the date code off hand. it was made quite a while ago though I do remember that. but it's definitely the nicest saw I have ever had . I have used it once so far and was cutting some really hard and large pieces of oak and it handled it with ease. no primer to worry about and it also has a decompression valve . overall I absolutely love the saw and it feels really good in the hands . like it's got some real quality . like I said I was unfamiliar with the name but after looking into it I was knocked over at the price they went for . so much as to go and ask the lady if she was sure and tell her what it was worth. bless her lol she laughed and said I told you it was a nice saw and I know what it cost and laughed. she just made me promise it will get used and I won't get rid of it so I happily obliged.
  • Wish sometimes my Stihl 028AV Super Wood Boss had a decompression valve. Hurts the hand when it has compression and yanks hand out of hand.

I just put a new top end on one of these for a guy I work for I'm thinking about seeing if he will let me do a couple days work in exchange for the saw.

I have a huquvarna 350 I love it is there a chain specifically made to rip felled trees instead of crosscut say like a sawmill type set up ???
  • @bblades7823
Where are the felling sights at on this saw?
  • @firstblood7155
i just found many bad review about husk 350..is that true? like leaks.. muffler bolts.. anyone?
  • @Psy6o
The 52cc model is one of the best mid sized saws ever made the 47cc is not the same but it's a good saw but they call it a 350 as well I don't understand it
  • Coldest-blooded P.O.*. I've ever owned. Trouble starting and staying running since new. Have kept the thing immaculate, service the chain sprocket every time I use it, have replaced and gapped plugs, installed premium plugs and replaced spark cable to no avail. Have tried different choke settings, removed and cleaned plug, no difference. Takes about 30 pulls to have it run for 5 seconds, then stop. After about four of these sets, it runs for about 30 seconds then dies when you try to use the handle throttle. Took it for service, and improved for about two hours, but service tech said these like to foul plugs no matter what you do, recommending a real chain saw...Stihl. This one is going to the curb for some sucker to take and be frustrated with. Don't even waste your money or time on this weird brand Chain saw. Just like weird Swedish cars, it's hard and expensive to repair, and bad design. Buy conventional stuff built locally by people that actually speak our language.
