Imagine getting slowly digested and you're watching as a group fights over your bones for real estate

I like the idea of a snail being chased by a snail and it says "screw this crawling shit, ima do what is called a pro gamer move" and defies the laws of snail locomotion by freakin jumping.

snail: is brutally hunted down and murdered hermit crabs: it's free real estate

Considering almost none of these sound effects are actually being captured from the underwater filming, can we get a round of applause for BBC Earth's SFX team?
  • @McHeisenburger
Today I watched the slowest chase scene of all time and some hermit crabs fighting over real estate.

"In a world of snail paces, the conch is something of a Ferrari." Only you Attenborough. Only you.

Conch: Calm down guys, I'm not done eating yet. Crabs: ARE YOU DONE NOW? ARE YOU DONE NOW? ARE YOU DONE NOW?

I will never tire of watching hermit crabs look for new shells. To see them switch looks hilarious to me. It's like seeing someone who skips leg day out and about 😂

"Sensing the approaching danger, the snail flees" A sentence I never thought I'd hear.

crab 1:i offer 5 grand crab 2: 10 grand conch salesmen: sold
  • i like how Attenborough emphasizes conCH, as if he's trying to avoid following the footsteps of the guy who called it a Giant Horse Conk
  • The conch slowly turned to the crab like "dude, did you just pinch me i'm eating"

On land: Homicide Home = Hard to sell In the sea: Homicide Home = “No need to clean up the blood, I’ll move in as is, right now!”

0:49 "But, in a world of snail paces, the conch is something of a Ferrari." What a fantastic line!
  • @codybear5840
I imagine the crab running away with the shell making Zoidberg noises XD
  • @cliffcox7643
The hermit crab was always a shy guy, but the Conch really brought him out of his shell.
