nelk branching into the ufc world was probably one of the smartest moves for their podcast

Volkanovski is so chilled, so down to earth. It speaks volume of his upbringing. Great job to his parents coaches and teammates.

Khamzat really opened up about having nothing, sleeping in the gym for 3 years and how he thought he had cancer. Respect brother 🤝

Khamzat's story is awesome. And serious props to Kyle with the questions. Kyle was able to get Khamzat to open up more than I've ever seen. He genuinely laughs in this episode.

Man no Steiny is so refreshing, like letting the guests talk and no stupid questions or arguing with the guests.
  • @strawhats4858
This was far more entertaining than listening to the usual reporters asking the same questions they ask every week for the last 3 years
  • @Maiso23m
No one had the balls to tell Khamzat to talk into the mic 😂

guess all the hype about awakenbeerus is real, he really know some inside info about these events

wow man, Khamzat's interview was amazing... very good questions..when Khamzat was talking about how he thought he had cancer you could see the grimace in his face and how bad it bothered him just to remember such a scary time in his life. Khamzat has a real warriors soul, anyone who thinks differently is mistaken.

Khamzat doesn’t seem like he, “plays a character”. Very admirable. Just brutally honest without selling out. Gotta love it
  • @loopvil369
Great interview with Khamzat guys. He really opened up about his early days
  • @jeffd660
Steiny not screwing up the interviews is refreshing.

This side of Khamzat is so much more likeable and relatable. I’ve never been a big fan but you can’t help but respect him after hearing his backstory.

Khamzat is such a cool guy He’s got an amazing story and deserves to reap the rewards of his sow

It’s crazy to think of Khamzat’s trajectory from in December of 2015 when Conor sparks out Aldo, he was working security in a chicken factory. An immigrant in Europe from a poor war torn country, with little choice but to be grateful to have even bottom of the food chain type of work. There’s millions of these stories out there. Mum and brother are at home needing the money he makes to survive. His brother is a good man, giving him that one year to go and chase his dream whilst he looked after home on his own. It sounds easy when someone tells the story from the top, but at that time without a penny to his name he moved to the capital, took a complete chance and went to Gustafson’s gym. This is a guy who’d only trained to the same level all Chechen’s and Dagestani’s train too, local wrestling clubs. And at 23 which is old to try and start making it to the top, he fast tracked his progress that much that by 28 he was at the top of the WW division in the UFC. Everyone dickrides Conor’s story, Khamzat’s is equally if not more impressive. What a guy, and I wish him all the success and I hope his mother and brother enjoy a good life for allowing him to chase his dreams when there was bills to pay at home. Khamzat showed the balls to take a chance, the type of balls 99% of the world population only wish they had.

if volk pulls this off he will cement himself in the goat conversation easily
  • @theflashkopatich
Volk is the MAN!! Seems like the most chill guy and makes anyone feel comfortable in his presence. Let’s go and NEW 💪🏼
