there are some lower cost therapists around (difficult to find I'll say) but very useful when you need to see someone long term and really work on some deep seated issues, I plan on going back to one maybe in the new year!

Very interesting! I recognised myself in a lot of what you were saying. I always put it down to lack of self-confidence which has been with me since my childhood.

I was diagnosed with GAD after having panic attacks at work and then had agoraphobia. 8 years later still on medication and I can still leave the house, but don't do well with crowds.
